Christmas decor goes up tomorrow here!

I will be putting the house desor up but not the tree yet as I get a real one. It usually takes me about 4 hrs to decorate. I can't believe it is that time already! It is my norm to do it the day after Thanksgiving. Wow time flies!

We will be decorating this weekend as well but won't put the tree up yet, we get a real tree.

normally I would be decortaing this weekend too but since my little "accident" Wedneday and I am now in a brace and on crutches it looks like we will not be decorating at all this year. I may be able to get my brother to just get the old fake tree up from the basement but we won't have any other decorations.

I'll probably start it, but it takes me a few days to get it all up.

I am done with the inside except the tree, too early for a real one. But went to the parade today, saw Santa... its officially tis the season!

I took yesterday and today off from work so I could get it done, and it's still not all done!!

I think the older I get the longer it takes to get it all up and done.

DH got the outdoor lights done. The weather was so nice he didn't even have to wear a coat and some years he's out there in his insulated coveralls and old-man hat with ear flaps!!

I wanted to put my village up but I need a new "snow blanket" first so will get that tomorrow after work.

I got my Alpine tree up this afternoon. Bought it a couple years ago but didn't have any "up north" lodge-style ornaments so have been collecting those and felt I had enough to put it up today, it looks good!!

Tomorrow the "big tree" goes up too!
