Christmas Day

We went for Christmas Day in 2005 and found it surprisingly manageable.

You'll only have hotel guests there as none of the locals will come in on Christmas Day ~ they start doing that on Boxing Day and from then on it's mega mega busy until New Year.

It was the best Christmas Day I've ever had. :santa:

I've been trying to convince the family to go for Christmas, but my mother thinks it would be a hassle, what with having to put on (and carry all day long) coats and scarfs... taking them off to go on rides then putting them back on after, etc.
Truth is, she just doesn't like the cold :goodvibes

Christmas Day in DLRP would be amazing!

Do they have both parks open or is it just the Magic Kingdom?

I'd have thought it would have been really busy to be honest but I've never been over Christmas or New Year.

We are spending this Christmas at Disney, cant wait!

Like Warebears has said Im hoping Christmas day will be ok as it should just be people staying at the hotels....we are coming back the day after boxing day, hopefully before it gets mega mega busy! .......

We've had several winter / cold trips and you don't need to take coats off on the rides. :)

I'm sure between us we can find a counter argument for any reason mum comes up with for not going. ;)

I have a vision..... You will do both!! :p!!!! Lol!!!! We all know you're an addict- And we love you for it!!

:rotfl: If i could afford to the both i would. But i don't think its likely this year :(

Either next year or the year after we will spend Christmas there.

Lol.... Christmas would be pretty cool!!

Robert says we aren't going for a while after this because he wants to go other places!! :sad1: I think I may change his mind.... With a little help from gentle, kind words (Traslation: Vicious nagging!!! Lol!)....

You know, Jeremy is the same... He also wants to go to different places, holidays, sunshine etc and we have to decide how to spend his holiday days (we have to go to Macedonia to visit my family and to Switzerland to visit his mum and the rest of the days are for Disney:lmao: ).

I always find a way to change his mind and book Disney holiday - I'm insane and I love it! Once you start, it's hard to stop :rotfl:

We went from December 24th to 27th last year. Christmas Day and the 26th were busy but not too bad. However, it was horrendously busy on the 27th with very long queues for everything. Park was open to 10 each night we were there.

You do need to ensure that you book your meals in advance - assuming you want to eat in the service restaurants. While we were waiting for our table in Walt's on Christmas Day there must have been about a dozen people come in expecting to get served straight away but with no booking. They seemed surprised when told that the restaurant was fully booked all day.

Thanks Jill :) I'll make sure she reads this :flower3: :goodvibes
