Christmas Day Touring Plan Critique Please!

We did Tom Sawyers island on Christmas, and it was somewhat of a respite from the crowds to just sit and relax up at the picnic tables in the shade with frozen lenonades - it was busy enough to have the snack place open! We also enjoy the "less popular" shows on days like this- Hall of Presidents, Country Bear, etc. Sometimes even Christmas gets hot there, and the air conditioning breaks can be an important part of keeping everyone in better moods and able to handle the crowds!

Oh, I wasn't trying to keep you from going—it will be crazy and very crowded, but nothing beats it! The second you turn down Main Street and see the castle on Christmas morning, nothing else matters.

I didn't get the impression that you were trying to convince me otherwise, I was just admitting that I know it will be crazy and that I might be a little crazy too :)

We waited for PeopleMover for 45 minutes this year on Christmas Day. It was the worst - it was just so crowded, we decided to go SOMEWHERE to wait it out until our Pirates FP+. This was at 4 p.m.

Personally, I think Plan 1 is your best option, but would keep trying to stalk a later dinner time or skip BoG altogether in favor of another attraction before things get completely out of control.
