I have been trying to come up with some Christmas gifts for my family for Christmas Day.

We are staying at Coronado Springs. We are a group of 8. 2 rooms, a girls room and a boys room. We won't know until check in of course if we get our connecting rooms. The girls room consists of me, dd 7, dd 14, and daughter in law to be 21. The boys rooms will have dh, ds 21, ds 22, ds 24.

If it weren't for our youngest daughter we wouldn't do any gifts, as this trip of 9 nights, airfare, MVMCP, and the Tomorrowland Desert Party, and tips and whatnots are costing us enough:)

We arrive 12/17 and depart 12/26. So by Christmas Day I would think we would have done most of our shopping. Christmas Day will be spent at Hollywood Studios with lunch at Hollywood & Vine. Could be the last trip our youngest wants to go there with the characters.

Without breaking the bank, does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks:goodvibes

Exact same dates as our trip! :-). We are planning a couple of the tours. After reading about a few of them... You might check out the Disney magic family tour..looks like $35.00 or so... And just a couple of you could do it! It's like a scavenger hunt for something a character or princess lost (had stolen)... With a couple meet and greets along the way :-) !

For us... I have two tween/teen boys... I am giving them a stocking. I will wrap a few small gifts (so that they can unwrap something) , some Disney dollars (commemorative), a pin(that I see them drooling over that week), putt putt tickets, (from Christmas land), some gold dollar coins with a special note that they can spend them at the candy cauldron in DTD, and an arcade card.

Also... I am making Disney coupon books for them... They can redeem a couple coupons a day! I will have things such as..

Free dole whip
Free cupcake
Free cookie
Free popcorn
Your choice of lunch restaurant
Your choice for dinner restaurant
... Many things like that :-)

Does your little one still believe in Santa? If so, you may want to do small gifts from Santa just for her. Otherwise, I would do just a stocking for each one, filling them with mostly things found now. Five below would be a great place. You don't want the hassle of packing a ton of stuff. If you want to do a bit more, maybe get each one a ornament or sweat shirt and give them those too.

We talked to Santa and he is only bringing small hand sized gifts this year.... and is going to leave them around DHS for my son to find. I'm hoping some CMs might help Santa too.

We'll be at Coronado for Christmas, too! (We arrive on the 23rd)

We've decided that we are just doing stockings, any gift exchanging will be done at home either before or after vacation. Instead of trying to bring stuff with you from home, you could collect gifts for your little one throughout the week as she sees stuff that she likes. (Without her seeing, of course.) Then Santa could leave them for her on Christmas morning.
