I have a couple of questions I was hoping someone could help with.
First, how long do the non-theme park restaurants serve until on Christmas Day? (Our flight doesn't arrive until 6:10pm)
Second, what do you think would be the earliest ADR I should try and make? Meaning, is an 8:30 pm ADR pushing the envelope?
Lastly, does anyone have any suggestions for a good restaurant that night on Disney property, but not in the theme parks, that really captures the "Disney Holiday Experience"?
It will be me, my lovely wife, and three kids (7, 9, and 10)
Thanks for any help:goodvibes

I do believe everything, including the restaurants are open all year round no matter what, especially at Christmas because this is peak season!
As far as a restaurant to have Christmas dinner at? HHmmm....

I actually think it would be fun to have dinner at Chef Mickeys. What better way to spend Christmas than with Mickey and the gang? And the Contemporary is always decorated beautifully for the holiday season! :wizard:
But, you could always have dinner at someplace like Artists Point at the WL or the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I think if you eat a resort it is going to feel like the holidays no matter what because of the decorations! :thumbsup2
What better way to be with your family on Christmas day that at Disney? :yay:  :cloud9:

And I do believe most restaurants take ressies until 9pm so 8:30I think would be fine!

The Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge would be an excellent choice for your Christmas evening dinner. I am sure that they are open till 10 PM. IMHO the WL is the most beautiful resort at Christmas time. You will be happy with your choice.

Thanks for the suggestions!!:)
I was originally thinking Ohana's and then watch the Christmas fireworks, but i'm just not sure of the Christmas feeling thing there, also I'm not sure of the timing, do they still do the fireworks at 10:00pm like in the summer, or is it earlier?
WL sounds about right though I hadn't thought of that. As for Chef Mickey's, that is our kids favorite for breakfast buffett so we are definitly doing that, only later in the trip.
Thanks for the tips

The WCC has the traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas day. Mashed potatoes , dressing and either baked ham or broiled salmon was also an option one year. It comes with all the trimmings, pop and dessert included and it is all you can eat.
