It was just a full monorail of people coming in. Maybe even 2 if both came at the same time (not sure that ever happens or not). This is one of the times is pays 10 fold to be able to go bagless. You can work your way past the folks going through security on to the bag free lines.

Is it typically worst on Xmas day vs eve? We r going on eve bc of this.

There's probably very little difference. The days between Christmas and New Years, and it will include the entire Weekend with the way Christmas falls this year, are the most crowded days at Disney. Period. They are all 11's, in a scale of 1-10. It will be crowded and you will wait to do everything. Including getting in. It's why I wouldn't be caught dead there that week. Thanksgiving was bad enough.

I saw that pic too and "talked" to the person who posted it. It was noon and it took them anout 20 minutes to get in through "no bag" entrance. They were local and going for a meal for someones birthday.
