Hi Everyone!

Is it just me, or is the DIS running slow for everyone?

I was thinking that couldn't have been a real family planning a cruise, but the more I thought about it, I realized that there are really people out there like that. Grim and I were out to eat over the weekend and 4 adults were sitting at a table with their 7 kids. They were talking about how when they get really drunk, they make themselves throw up so that they can drink more. RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR KIDS! I was disgusted, just like I was when I started reading our thread today.

Karen: I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to get my picture to you. Can you pm me with your email address? Or what would be the easiest way to go about it? The image is kind of 3d, but I also have a flat version if you want.

Hi All:

I had to run out to the urgent care.....Wilson slammed his finger in the back silding door. Much blood and much screaming told me *might* be broken. Great doctor used ice and spray ice to numb it (rather than a shot) and poked a whole thru his nail to relieve the blood under it. More loud scream, then relief. Xrays no big deal, actually he really liked them and they really liked him too because we told them it was his first day in Kindergarten and could we take some xrays to class fro show and tell and viola a free copy (hide it and don't tell, says the xray tech) Pinky finger left hand. Might have some bone damage to the tip. We go to our regular doctor tomorrow afternoon. I'm sure right after we pick up the surgery bunny....

Good heavens then those darn pirates (love the solgan Aisling)

long Thursday....we just dropped Polly off at the vet. I cried, a little, I think I need a full blown sob soon to release the pressure.

I'm gonna ride this issue out to the end...I was waiting to buy our airfare-I'll ride this wave as long as I can til hopefully the prices go back down.

All else fails, we'll be riding with Mom! At least she and I could split the cost of gas and still pay less than the airlines are charging.

Poor Polly. Nan a good sob cures a lot of things. Kayla had a break down at rehearsal the other night and for the life of me, I had no clue why. I chalked it up to her being 17. She told me later she felt so much better after!!!

Grim: $1200 I am so glad we booked everything through a TA. I am sure we could have done better on the airfare, but with things the way the currently are, I'm glad we went the path we did!!

Dede: I'll PM you, thanks for the graphic. We have something for Grim as well. But I'm guessing he already has it judging by his screen name!!! But you never know.

I am glad you are finding us, everyone. I would miss you all if I didn't hear from you!!!
