I just sent them another note...she'll get a kick out of that.

~Love the names~

Just checking in to say hi!

We're getting ready for Easter. Our parish does beautiful Triduum services, and it's really inspiring, mindful of new beginnings.

Nan, can't wait to hear how you like the Disneyland Hotel. It's on my list...

I have to tell you a stupid thing I did. I cut my own hair! I wanted to do a little something with the front, but oh well, I messed it up. It wasn't a disaster, but I did have to go get it fixed. Learnt my lesson, I did! I'll ask Chad to take and post a picture. A good laugh is good for the soul! He's at church with Jesse rehearsing for a live Stations of the Cross. And guess who Father choose to be Jesus?? JESSE! My poor baby, he would rather sweep up afterwards than play an active part, but this will be good for him. I told him I won't force him, but that I think it'll be good for his confidence, so he begrudgingly agreed. We shall see.

I'm so getting ready for my June/July WDW trip. If any of you can sneak down, PLEASE DO! We miss you!!

And not to put pressure on you all, but Chad told me if we don't cruise with at least some of our Christmas 05 cruisers, well I forgot exactly what he said, but it was something like bummer and no fun. ;)

Tiggie, are you going on the Threadkillers cruise? And you know, I should join that group, because OMG I've been killing threads lately, I don't know why! They see my posts and flip to something else :confused3 . Should I take it personally? :rotfl2:

Dede and Grim, anything new? :cloud9: You know how we love details!

They want me to cruise with them Jan 7, 07 for 4 days on the Wonder...

I really want to but haven't committed yet...we've had every car (and that's 5!) in the garage in the last two weeks. Britt is an admitted horrible driver...she's already got 2 dents a busted distributor and now a blown tire on it

Our explorer needed brakes, my pickup needed tires and a ball joint, my sons car needed a tie rod, tranny adjustment and tires :faint: Hubby bought a used honda for $400 (woulda been $500 but it needed brakes too!)

Do you want to try and go with us?

Do you want to try and go with us?
To be honest, I'd rather save a little longer and go on a 7-day. A 4-day would be too frustrating for me.

It's hard to book more than a year ahead because I don't know where Chad will be...job, school, who knows. We were going to do the 07/08 NYE western, but my kids really want to be home for NYE. So maybe another Christmas. And then I think, summer costs less, even though it's mad hot at that time in the caribbean. And then I remember when we were on Trunk Bay beach, so beautiful, paradise, frolicking in the surf without a care in the world, and I said to my kids : "imagine, this is Christmas!" I guess you had to be there, but I loved the idea of Christmas in the caribbean. I'm a traditionalist, but I have to admit, I didn't miss the cold weather. Gee, you asked a simple question, and I go on and on!

I think I'm logged in as chicken but I'm not really (it's Nan) checking in as I said I would.

YEAH Dede!!!! Thanks you gave me an excuse to shop, like I needed one huh? :lmao: :rotfl2:

Haven't found just the right thing(s) yet but give me time....

So a bit of bummer news this trip. My ear has turned out to be a big problem. We spent this morning in urgent care and I now have another antibotic (topical) this time and hoping for less pain soon. I've not had the best of time and the old adage of if mama's not happy aint nobody happy. I can't do any fast moving rides, that sucks too. Today we didn't even make ti to the park. Paul took them to the pool while I got some sleep. Oh well, yesterday we waited 75 minutes for the new Monsters Inc ride, then another 35 minutes for an ice cream, now my charming children are fighting about candy so I better sign off and wander with them to day(night) care, Paul and I are having a dinner alone tonight. Hopefully tomorrow will bring not so much pain and a fun park day, then home on Saturday. On a last better note we decided to get APs for the rest of the family on this trip, so we'll be back again soon enough to enjoy.

Talk to you again from home on Easter I'm sure.

Until then Happy Easter :Pinkbounc

p.s. we think Piper came from Robots..."piper like viper only with a P" okay we aren't much for old Dis trivia are we!!!

 Hi Chad ;)

CruiseVaca028.jpg

We're back.....not so great news, my ear got to be a bigger problem in the early evening and we opted to cut our trip short and come home, good thing we did as the doctor (from where I've just returned) did a bit of surgery on it and now I'm home with stronger antibotics and Vicodine. She also told us that this type of ear problems are extremely painful, so the chicken is now eating a bit of crow for saying I had a low pain threshold....I'm shooting for a do over on Mothers Day weekend. We'll see...

So, nice picture of the adult kids. Nice Kids too :goodvibes

So the really sad news is that I didn't get my chance to really shop for Sidney. That means we must go back.

Time for some hon-sku.

Nan

Nan, I'm glad you have your ear thing under control. I know ear issues can be a pain! :rotfl: Oops that was bad bad bad, but I only said that because you have vicodin, which is a very effective painkiller. I'd say more about it, but I don't want to sound like a junkie! Anyway, what was it? Inner ear, outer ear? Did you still have a good time at DL? :wizard: to you to get well soon.

Tig, thanks somuch for posting that photo! I got nowhere near Serenity Bay, and didn't get to check out the big kids over there. Chad said he saw Grim and Dede over there. You must have great camera. I don't think I can make mine zoom like that! Once again, you delight me with your photography!

Dede, so now we have a name for the Christmas ornaments!

:grouphug: to you all!

I really do have a good quality camera...

I'm still learning how to use it. Daylight stills are easy. It's the dark, indoor or action shots I'm not happy with.

My next purchase is gonna be some form of nice tripod...no more cheapies.

Bummer Nan! That sucks.

It's now been 1 year since we signed the contract on our house. A YEAR and it's still not done!

They delivered the new drawers, but about half of them are missing. Ugh...

They did get the granite installed finally:

And here's Piper (and Dede)!

Off to Babies-R-Us!

grim :pirate:

Grim, thanks for the picture! Dede, you look so happy! And cuuuuute!
That looks like one nice long counter. Grim, I'd be so annoyed if my theoretical new house took that long to complete, but as long as it's ready for Piper! Have you thought about how you're going to do her bedroom?

I'm glad things are at least moving forward for you guys...

The house looks good so far~

And Dede, you look adorable...thanks for the pics Grim :)

 Hi to everybody else, I hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

I will cause I'm off on Sunday for the first time in months~

Hi All!

Nan, since when do you need a reason to shop? hehe

Seriously, sorry to hear about your ear....does sound really painful. I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy/finish your trip. No worries about not shopping for Piper. I don't think she'll be going naked ;) As for her name, it did not come from Robots. We had it picked out way before that, and were a little irritated when that movie popped up with her name. We didn't want everyone going, "OH, PIPER! Let's name our baby PIPER!" Thank goodness it wasn't a huge success...lol

Anyway, glad your doctor took care of you and that you're on the road to recovery. You can say Hi to Mickey for us on Mother's Day :)

Aisling and Tig, Thanks for the cute compliments. I am really enjoying pregnancy and my new maternity clothes. :goodvibes

That house had better be ready by the time she's here! We are going to do her bedroom in pink and green, with daisies and butterflies. (and maybe a princess castle on the wall) I'll have John post pictures when its finished. I bought the cutest pink, white, and green chandelier to put in her room, too! I can't wait until she's here!

Well, time for bed. We had a long day registering for all of Piper's goodies.

Bye for now,

::MinnieMo Dede

Doing better yet Nan?

Piper's room sounds adorable Dede!

I have a question...what is Grim's middle name? Is it Skip? Enquiring minds are at it again...;)

Happy Easter everybody!

How cute you look Dede!!! And what nice kitchen you have...all the more to bake cookies with my dear....can you envision yourselves making gingerbread houses with her in a few years at Xmas? I can :goodvibes

We are having our Easter on the beach, it looks like. We are going over to see a 1.6 mil open house that chicken says we can't buy.

Just came back to this post, I thought I sent it last night, but no here it sits waiting for me... I have some pictures to upload then post...I'll be back...

:rotfl2: Nan, my girl, I have a feeling you can get whatever you want! Chicken always seemed like a go-along-with-it kinda guy.
But actually now I don't know. It's the goatee! You look a little tough now, Paul, testosterone-enhanced :lmao: ! Seriously, you look cute! :thumbsup2

Nan, do you like the beard?

Tig, I almost died laughing when you asked Grim if his middle name is Skip!

Happy Easter to you all. We had a lovely day here, church and then out to eat. I wanted to take a ride over to see the Queen Mary in port, but of course my dull family didn't want to. :confused3

(Thanks Easter Bunny! Bock Bock!)
Does this mean you got Peeps for Easter?
