Quick question regarding our 4 night dream cruise over Christmas day 2020. We've never been on any of the holiday themed cruises, and obviously not actually on a holiday like we will be this time, will there be a pirate night on this cruise? I have heard they do a special meal on Christmas day, of course don't know that for certain, but can't find any info if they still do a pirate night on this cruise. My husband actually hates the pirate nights, it's the only thing he says he can do without on our trips, so he is really hoping they skip it for this cruise.

I don't know but Hi, we'll be on the cruise with you! We're super excited but it's killing DD7 that it's so far away. I had to explain cruises are expensive and we need time to save for it.

There is always a Pirate night on Caribbean & Bahamas cruises.
I just didn’t know with the Christmas stuff going on during that particular cruise if they would still have it. We’ve been on a “normal” sailing just didn’t know how they did the one that is sailing on Christmas.

Yes! I had to explain to both of my girls the same thing. We are also doing 5 nights at WDW before the cruise so this is something we have to save for. We go multiple times a year but this requires just a little extra (and the wait will be totally worth it!)

He doesn't HAVE to participate in Pirates' Night. I'm allergic to crowds so I don't bother to go.
He always feels bad if he doesn’t, I think it’s all good fun and love the fireworks. My DD8 has sensory issues so she and DH usually skip out on them, but he isn’t a fan of the dining. Maybe I’ll just let him order room service with her and go with DD11 for some fun.

I would suggest looking at this year's Navigators to see what the menus are for a 4 day over Christmas on the Disney Cruise Line Blog site. On a 3-day, there isn't a Pirate Night menu, so it's possible that while they might have a Pirate Night (in terms of activities), that it will be the standard rotational menu, since you will have the Christmas menu for one of your nights. On our 7 day this past spring, we did not have the Pirate Menu as it was replaced with the Star Wars menu.

Thanks! I will plan to look at this years just to get an idea, I really wish I was on this years cruise though lol (if only I were rich)
