Christmas cruise 2010

We just booked this cruise last night! I'm so excited:cool1::cool1:.

Me :yay: 44
DH :surfweb: 46
DS :cool2: 17

First we are going on the 7 night eastern 08-29!

Hi Diznie - It looks like your DS and mine will be the same age at cruise time (18). We are looking forward to cruising with him as an adult this time! As we get closer, maybe your DS and mine would want to chat. Let me know!

Hi again!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This thread is now starting to come together nicely isn't it!!:santa::santa:

MicraPip - I have pm'd you, as I have got a copy of the spreadsheet the other Christmas cruise are using (the one that records who wants to participate in the fish extenders and/or secret santa exchange). I'm just not sure how to forward it on to anyone!!

I am happy to collate the info if you like or I can pass it over to you - whatever you prefer!!:lovestruc

Greetings All...

I have a question about the Door Magnets that some people put on their stateroom doors...

I have a design on my PC for everyone in my family... what I'm looking for is how does one get magnets created from them? Do I need to take the files to a business supply store like Staples?

or have any of you printed them yourself?

Let me know:confused3

Hi!!!:thumbsup2

I am in no way an expert!:upsidedow having not done one yet myself, but I read on here somewhere that you buy magnetic paper and print it yourself - that sounds like it might work , but I've not tried it so can't be sure!!:rolleyes1:lmao:

Hi,
I purchased magnet sheets from Staples (Item #386943) last year and they worked great. I printed them using a color laser printer, at first I thought it may be a challenge with the sheets being kinda thick, but had no troubles at all.

Hi again!!:goodvibes

Yes the BC stands for Beach Club and the 7 nights is for the Hard Rock Hotel - I haven't been able to book HRH either, and as we don't arrive there now until Jan 1st 2011 - I'm not sure when we'll be able to book it!!:lmao:

I am however going to book the poly and the beach club in the next few days, as luckily the 2010 prices are already out on the UK website!! I would normally wait for the US prices in August, but to be honest the exchange rate for us is so poor that I don't think we would get a good deal this time!:sad2:

Hello everyone - I thought I would move this thread back up the board a bit!!:lmao:

Hope everyone is ok!!:lovestruc

We are now ALL booked for Christmas/New Year 2010!!:santa: - We've booked flights, car hire in WDW, the Poly, the Beach Club, the Cruise!;), the Hard Rock Hotel and all of our park tickets!! Oh and the dining plan for while we are at the Poly!! - Yeah!!!:banana::banana::banana:

All I have to sort out now is car hire from the Port to Universal studios and I am all set!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Speak to you soon!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Wow Amy! You are so lucky that you can book all of those things so early!! I don't know what our plans will be for before and after the cruise. We will probably fly in the night before and stay near the port. We might stay a night or two at WDW after the cruise, but it is soo crowded there at that time that I don't know if its worth it. At least there's plenty of time to plan!

We had originally planned to go back to WDW after the cruise, but having read so many stories on here about the Holiday crowds:scared1:, Steve (DH) said he didn't want to go back after the cruise. So we decided to fly out extra early and do all of WDW before the cruise and then go to Universal for a week afterwards.:thumbsup2

I know Universal will also be busy for the first few days, but we plan to spend most of that chilling at the hotel and visiting relatives for NYE, then we will probably hit the Universal parks from 2nd - 6th Jan when hopefully they will be quieter. Even if they are still busy, it won't be so bad for us as we are staying onsite at Universal so will have front of the line access (a great extra!!):yay::yay:

I'm kinda of abandoning ship. I just booked the "Oasis of The Seas" , Royal Carribean Cruise Lines. I got a much better deal with Balcony rooms overlooking the boardwalk, complete with a sitting room!

I love Disney, but they are getting very expensive.....

Have a great cruise!

Oh No!!! :sad2:- I don't blame you though - the cost of other lines is so good compared to DCL!

I wonder if everyone else has had the same idea - no one has posted here for ages!! - Perhaps I'll have the boat to myself!!:lmao:
