Christmas Cruise 2005!!!

Hey everyone! How's everyone doing tonight? I just got back form a long day of school volleyball and hanging with some people outside... I am beat!:( I had a lot of homework over the past 5 days of school! Our tachers aren't nice or anything when it comes to 8th grade! I am just sorta scared what homework's gonna be like over Christmas Vacation or else I might be bringing it along for the road trip! That won't be too bad though I could do it when we stop and when we stop at night at a hotel in the middle of nowhere! hehe But I still don't want to have to worry about it...Once it starts to get really close I am going to start rereading all of the posts on here to refresh my memory of whats going on. Well I have to go shower now I smell :rotfl: hehe...Well good night everyone!

Hi Tori,
I used to love playing volleyball in school, but now I'd be huffin and puffin after five minutes of whacking the ball.
Your post made me think of something I hadn't thought of before: HW over Christmas vacation. I don't have to worry about Chad, because he's in college, and they don't get assignments during vacation in his school, but Jesse...he'll be in 8th grade, and I'm trying to remember if he got much HW last year during Christmas break. I hope he doesn't, but I guess we'll deal with it.
Jesse saw your picture on the mypage site, I think he got it from the teen board, and he thinks you're cute!

Tig, that grass boarding looks scary! What a fun guy your boss must be. But I was looking for you on one of those boards! Did the beautiful weather inspire your boss to close up shop in favor of playtime outdoors?

Kris, even though I can't afford to spend any more money on disney stuff, I'm going to check out the scrapping board for the discount advice. I can never pass up a good deal! Thanks for the tip. I guess Jack is ready for Pirate Night!

Just want you all to know, I keep envisioning seeing all of you and a smile comes across my face! It is going to be like traveling with family I never knew I had! Thank you for being a part of my life!!
Karen, this is how I feel, too! :grouphug:

Nan- I'm totally with you on the whole "girth" thing. I'm just hoping my formal dresses from our last cruise still fit by the time December rolls around. Actually, I'm really hoping they'll fit BETTER than they did last time :bitelip:

Your undewear tag/scrapbooking tag made me giggle. When grim and I painted our living room 3 years ago, I saw the disney paint swatches that are mickey heads, and I raided all the swatches to get multiple colors of mickey heads for my scrapbooks! :earseek:

Too tired to read more posts tonight. I just got home from Open House....what a LONG day! I had more parents than ever come to visit tonight. I must be getting popular! :teacher:

Oh, and Tori, we don't give homework to be mean ;)

::yes:: Ayup, boss likes to play-he's great to work for most days ;)

The company we're in right now is a huge, nationwide corporation - no need to close cause he went out to play. He surfs, skis, mountain climbs, snowboards, and mountainboards (that's what he's doing in these photos.) He's always been active like that. Which is why he's so happy-he's openinig his own shop to sell and teach all of what he likes to do. It's expected to open October 1st and I'm supposed to go with him to help him run the place.

I had to remind him of our cruise cause that will be a huge week at the shop and I won't be there.

These are my favorite...I have to warn you, the photos are kinda big

Do those things have engines? Is that a throttle or a brake he's holding?

I want one!

The one you speak of has a brake-didja see the other pics from yesterday?

~No engines, self propelled~Kinda like snowboarding on wheels.

The model with a brake also has locking feet clips.
The other board has no brakes and velcro adjustable foot grips.

If you're serious the boss can get you one. PM me if that was not a joke ;)

:moped: (closest we have to a "boarding" smilie...)

Totally funny...Tig...DH Paul has another side to him....Mad scientist inventor. Before we married (And had Molly) he has his own business manufacturing and selling mountain bike lights...the company name was...G-Wiz Indsutries. When I showed him the pics of your boss he laughed and reminded me of a crazy adventure we took one winter day at Squaw Valley @ Lake Tahoe. Paul and his childhood friend created a Ski-Bike (tm) They attached skis to a mountain bike and tried to ski it down the hill. It was crazy. We'll try to pull out those old pictures. Anyways, Paul liked the thing your boss made....perhaps we should get them talking....Paul will drop you an email for a virtual intro....

Working today, (tigg) tells me to stop watching those Goo-Goo boys, oops I mean Dolls. Man that lead singer is a hottie.

Karen, I can't find the horse pic...what page is it on?

Asiling, 3Xs, Dede, Kris, Jill, Tori & anyone I forgot :wave2:

Grim....me thinks you and Paul will have some fun together, you seem the same type(s) pirate:

TTFN,

Nan

That's too funny!

Boss doesn't make them, he sells them

When BDMS (Black Diamond Mountain Sports) webpage gets up and running I'll send you the link.

Hey all :wave2: - not much time between work and playhouse. Thanks for the well wishes for Kayla - she is fine - went to an opthamologist - gave her some drops. Of course I had to cancel her Senior portraits one more time!!!

Have been browsing the costumes at Party City. Have my eye on a hat for Kayla. Hope they still have them the day AFTER Halloween - on sale!!!

Hello again...payroll is done-now back to DIS

Mom: I called Disney Cruise Line, they say your TA/SATO needs to tell DCL that you are a "returning cruiser." They should have told DCL when you booked this trip. When our docs come in they should say "returning cruiser" right on them.

~The DCL term is Castaway Club Member~

Karen, poor Kayla-at least she'll have another chance to get her portraits done ::yes::

My Brittany and Stefanie are seniors this year too. Brittany's portraits have been taken, Stefanie is supposed to be doing hers soon. (Brittany is my daughter, Stefanie belongs to my friend Rose.)

Looks fun...I can;t even begin to decide daily planning yet....I haven't gotten my head around WDW. For some dumb reason I must do them in calendar date order. Hmmmmm sound like a bean counter problem 'eh?

You've once again inspired me (not that it will do any good. :rotfl: )

My dilemma is out!

Mom complained today that I write too much too-thus my dilemma-I want to talk to everybody, reply to everything...I'm just a Disney Freak - a - zoid :dancer:

Now get back to work!!!!!!!!!

I'll get off the boards for a couple hours so you can concentrate on your work.

oh sure and you have to have the last word too :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

never will happen with my babbler mouth pirate:

hee hee, just kidding, but ya knew that didn't you?

Hi Pals! I have to start using bigger font. Either that or get glasses! :3dglasses

I'm watching the news about hurricane Katrina, and they say it's only cat. 1, but it still looks pretty bad down there. Scary.

I still didn't get over to disneydirect, so I'm going tocheck it out right now.

BBL
:sunny:

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Get any work done Nan? Yeah right, you were off watching videos of hunky guys...I see how you are

 Hi Aisling! Good to :magnify: see you!

Ok...today's question

Rose wants to hit the Florida Flea Markets for cruise stuff...what do you all think we need? Besides toiletries, I am truly clueless on this question.

I have so many things going on in the next few weeks

This one's gonna be a realxing one...how about you?

Wish I could say the same. We will be at the playhouse every waking moment from Saturday on, except work, of course. It's tech week and we open with Gypsy next Friday. We have a Senior Citizens performance on Thursday. They love it. So if I seem scarce you'll know why. Dominick said he'd post one of these days - we'll see.

Did you see the thread regarding Dis meets - I threw my 2 cents in!

Also does anyone know the answer to this question - if a holiday falls on a regular dining rotation day and you get a special menu, have you missed the opportunity to order from the regular menu from that resturant? See if we have the dining rotation I think we may have - we will miss the regular menu for AP and the lobster & shrimp wrapper is fabulous!! I have been looking forward to it. That and the souffle at Palo and a Kona Kooler on CC!!!!! :Pinkbounc

Have a GREAT weekend every one. Will visit if I have a moment.
