OMG Jill, that's a mighty trike you have there! Wow, I don't know what I expected to see, but this is da bomb, as my kids would say! It's beautiful, have a fantastic time playing with it. Where do you ride it??

I won't be able to pick it up until Monday. :rolleyes1 But, I can guarantee you I will ride it just about everywhere. And, I can hardly wait. :hourglass
When I saw it there on the show room floor I knew that is what I wanted. :lovestruc
Jill :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped:

talk about a nice ride, that bike is beautiful!!! okay you now get a cool mom award too.... :cheer2: :moped:

This weekend at the Special Kids day event, there was about 5 or 6 bikers giving rides to the kids Wilson says "I'm not old enough to ride on those, I have to be at least 18" Don't you love it, my 5 year old, if only I could keep that train of thought until he was 18...I figure with him it will go around 8 or 9. Of course, DD, Molly, expected to ride it at the ripe old age of 7.5. I didn't bother to tell them that I was riding with my BILs when I was only 6, but that was back in the day, it was safer then right??? :rotfl:

About that "regular character" breakfast. I assume it will be during a specific breakfast and annouced, not something we have to sign up for right?

Off to school to get DD...where does the time fly?

:wave2: bye,

Nan

The character breakfast onboard goes according to your dining rotation. Am I correct, Tiggie?

Thanks for that Poly link! This may sound corny, but my heart was beating fast as I read through it, because I CAN'T wait to stay there! I would die without these boards!! :faint:

You are too much like me Aisling...
I read the Trip reports and live vicariously thru others....
I knew with the way she ended her report that you would not only like it, but get goosebumps reading it...am I right;)

Nan In NJ, your feet only have to reach the "pedals" to legally ride on a motorcycle.

and yes, your Character Breakfast is scheduled for you. Your personal navigator will tell you what day you go. Everyone gets the opportunity to attend. They will have photographers at the breakfast for you too. (IMO, I would still bring my personal camera.)

Tigg oh I wish you had been a fly on my wall. At dinner tonight Wilson though we had emailed "TIGGER" the real TIGGER. Oh my how sad he was when he figured out that you are a person and not a Tigger! I of course explained what I was doing on my laptop over the past few days and even again this morning when we were typing but darn it if he didn't think he sent an email to Tigger. Oh how sad :charac2:

KKB Now we have my DD who wants to talk with someone...is your daugher up for a visit on the DIS with my Molly? I'll have her compose some thoughts and send them out to you soon.

Well I think tonight night I have sign off and work on the pile of junk on my dining room table (a.k.a. the scrapbooking stash) wish me luck.

:wave2: bye:

Nan

Awwwwww!

Kids are the best :goodvibes

Did you explain to Wilson what "wannabe" means?

Next to Mickey, Tigger is my all time favorite and I wannabe just like him :teeth: I am sure Wilson knows, that I could not be Tigger...
...cause the wonderful thing about Tigger's is that he's the only one :)

 Hi Kelsey! and Welcome!

What cruise did you go on?

Sorry--3:45AM wake up call by the cat...and interrupted sleep for the next 3 hours have me in a FOUL mood! Can't decide if I need to get rid of the stupid cat or the snoring husband.... I've been w/ the cat longer...But DH does have his advantages...
Nan--OMG, DD would ADORE a bit of chatting. Tonight is nuts, but we should be able to post tomorrow night if I remember! Or mayby tomorrow AM when we get to school.
Not chatty today...I think I need a THIRD cup of joe this AM....
Kristin
On a good note: We will all be ON that cruise 8 months from today! :earboy2:

Wow you lot have been busy.In a few days i had five pages to read!Welcome to PP Nan. princess: princess: I hereby agree to the terms. As for xmas with the kids i will bribe them with presents to at least spend some time with me. Single mum here no need for couple time so kids only time not alone.Of course my parents will be there too.Not gonna push too much for them sitting in on the meal tho think they will explode if they have to sit still on xmas day.I try to remember its thier xmas too and also their hols this year so ill let them decide most of it.Hope it works out for the passports, makes no diff to us as we have to have them for flight etc.We hated getting up early on the last day last time  especially since the kids HAD to come aswell. There should be a better way of doing that.We are also deciding on NYE no exciting thoughts yet let me know of any plans.

DISNEY CRUISE LINE COOLIE CUPS SOLD BY CASE

I'm such a cheap skate that seeing something like this my mind spins that I really must need one. But would we use something like this on the ship? Or are they silly? I think they are silly, but that cheapo in me keeps asking the question....34.95/168 pieces =~.20 a piece how can we not need them? Tell me that not everything with the word Disney on it has to be purchased. :confused3

Keep the cat. Use the DH. Then I am a cat lover. (They dont talk back & they stay by your side) :cat: ha ha

Coolie cups - novel idea

Jill :moped:

Nan, this is a big problem for me; it's hard for me to resist anything Disney, but I'm getting better! My advice: don't buy the coolie cups!!!! But take that money and put it in a jar for the cruise!

Wow you lot have been busy.
colkath, yes, indeedie, we're a very chatty crew! :hyper2: By the time we meet for the cruise, we'll all feel like old friends.

I was going over my packing list, and I want to bring Christmas decorations for the stateroom: 4 Disney Christmas stockings, a red and green table runner, lights for the verandah attached with suction cups, Christmas magnets for the door, and a tabletop Christmas tree that I think I can get from Shirley at Perfect Gifts. I have a pink Disney Christmas tree with princess ornaments that goes in my bedroom for Christmas (every room in my house gets a tree, with the livingroom tree being real), but I don't want to pack and carry it on the ship. I have some red bows that I'll put around the room, and hang some mistletoe. I hope Shirley's tree has a nice strong pine scent.

I have the day off from work tomorrow, and since the kids are home for Passover break, I was thinking of us going to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum on 42nd Street (between 7th and 8th if you ever want to go!). I haven't been there in years, and I know they have an amazing exhibition. The wax statues look so real that my mom won't go---it freaks her out. :rotfl: We'll see how the weather is; it's supposed to rain, and we were going to walk over. :umbrella: Tig, to answer you question a few posts back, Penn station is indeed in Manhattan, right under Madison Square Garden. And I still don't know why it's called Penn. :confused3

I was thinking since Formal Night falls on Christmas Day evening, I'm going to have my men wear tuxes. I'm just going to order them from the cruise site, and not bother carrying suits. I hope mlore men wear tuxes so that my 3 won't feel out of place. I just want to see them dressed up to the nines, and have a gaw-jis family photo of the four of us.

I think Grim said he was wearing a tux, and for semi, he'll wear the tux with a regular tie. That sounds good to me.

Lord, I'm so tired! Early morning for me. But not as early as yours, Kristin!!

Pleasant realization..thought my math homework was late (who feels like doing math after a concert??!!) Looked again...not due until next week! WOO HOO! A few more days to procrastinate!
Otherwise same ole same ole here.
Only 25 days of school left! Glad for summer, no so excited about 5 weeks of class...
Have a good one all!
Kristin

 Happy Humpday All!

We're over another hump - on our way to Christmas Magic :teeth:

Colette-you'll have many opportunities to spend time with the kids. IMO-take them to the theatre shows or a movie, there are organized family games and contests and dances you could attend together too...

I can't blame your kids for not wanting to get up early on the last day of vacation, who does? :confused3 ;)

We're leaning toward Downtown Disney for NYE. Even tho everyone wants something different in my group, it's all at DTD. Mom wants to do Cirque or Pleasure Island and the girls want Disney Quest or (hopefully) a HOB concert. The schedules come out about 90 days prior.

Nan: Did you buy the cups? They look like a good idea, but they were sold when I went to look at it today :confused3:

I buy Disney! This was my most recent WDW purchase---
105MickeyClipSm.jpg

I have soooo many shirts, and pins, and glasses from WDW that I switched up this last trip and got this for my bag. ::MickeyMo

Aisling: I really like the idea of decorating the cabin for Christmas. I never even thought of stockings! What a great idea :) I'm bringing verandah lights (and suction cups-another good idea.) I'm making magnets for the door, I'm sure I can do the Christmas theme on them. I'm ordering a tree from Shirley, I think I'll ask for it to be decorated with red bows and maybe buy christmas cruise ornaments on the boat...

I like wax museums, my favorite is the one Mom took us to in Orlando. We spent a very rainy day there and I remember this more than anything from that trip.

I'm glad you decided to "Tux" your guys :teeth: This is the dress my Brittany finally chose for this year's prom, it'll be perfect for formal night on the cruise, don't you think?

It's full length red dress with a hint/shimmer of pink in the fabric.

KKB: Don't you just love it when things work out?

My DD has 30 more days left of school...

She was complaining just yesterday about having to get up & go somewhere she doesn't want to be...I then reminded her she still gets three months off and I get a total of four weeks a year!!! She needs to count her bleesings and enjoy it while it lasts...

Britt did her first driving lesson yesterday. Saturday, she and some friends are going to Six Flags to check out their new coaster. Sunday she has the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park with her Papa. (DH gets to go to this one for sheer safety factor )

...and that's just what she has for this week !!!

~TTFN my friends~

Love that dress! I want to find something like that for DD 8, ok maybe not just like that but in that color :goodvibes

Didn't buy the cups, but they have 10 (sets) so I know if I want one I can email them to get one (set)...what would I do with 168 coolie cups (aside from bring them on the ship for you all)

what is DTD? :confused3

My boys will in tuxes for as many nights as can be. I made DH buy one, and I'm going to find one for DS on ebay. I've seen them pretty cheap.

I'm trying to book a summer trip to DL right now, man they are getting hard to do. I've got a ressie for us (Sister & my kids, no DH) for June 22-26. I hope we can find some cheap airfare, we are getting burned out on the long drive. We went in Feb '05 and spent an extra 4 hours on the Grapevine (mountains between us and LA) due to bad weather, there was even a flood that day. Keep your fingers crossed and let me know if anyone is looking for 50th ann stuff I'm happy to shop.

Off to Target, and brownies and then to the scrapbook store :cool1:

Happy Hump Day to you all,

:wave2: Nan

DD found this dress at Boscov's Department Store...
If you can, I would look now for your DDs dress. All the Prom, Wedding and Easter dresses are on sale right now. We got this one for 33% off! I found the best selection at the big dept stores like Macy's, Boscov's and JC Penney.

The coolie cups would actually work very well for a DISmeet I'm going to this summer. Right now they have 151 people coming to Allentown PA for the meet.

DTD = DownTown Disney = It's Disney's "club" area & shopping mecca.

I should be going to Target too! I think I'll scoot out now-

~TTFN~

Tig, the dress is beautiful, especially because of the shimmer. And perfect for formal night, so she'll get use out of it after the prom. And the best part, you didn't pay full price! My kinda girl! ;)

And as for the driving, tell Brit she's going to feel so freeeeeee after she gets her license!
