Just had to post a pic of my new bathing suit! I just have to get something to wrap around my waist. I don't feel comfortable walking around in just my bathing suit! It's so hard to find a pretty swimsuit with cups for extra support (sorry men!). I'm going to see if I can get something done to this one to help keep me in check, if ya know what I mean

and me the lowly Midwesterner! Oh, well, I always believed I was a big-city girl at heart!
Love the swimsuit! I bought a Miraclesuit for our Oct. cruise--black, plunging V wrap. Shows of my best assets while tightly wrapping up most of my least. Even made this mother of 3 via C-section feel sexy! Of course we found that it doesn't take MUCH to feel that! MY, WHAT people will wear on a cruise! And I am no super model--maybe I could pull a plus-size modeling job, like Emme. Hope to be more lithe for the cruise. But my not-as-lithe bod had a FANTASTIC time on the cruise, and we anticipate the same this time! We will miss the casino a bit....guess we'll just have to lounge at the pool MORE!
Thanks for compiling the list!
From one list maker to several others, it appears..
Kristin
PS Lynn, my mother visited London in '99. She loved it and says I would, too. (we are both party girls at heart) She cannot wait to go back! I know you don't live in London, but my mother loved England best of all her European jaunts!

and me the lowly Midwesterner!

My DS19 thinks it's so cool that you're from Nebraska. Born and raised in NYC, he went on a trip to Texas a few months ago, and has come home with a real appreciation of America's heartland. He thinks he may want to move to the midwest some day! A few years ago, we took a road trip to South Dakota, passed through Nebraska, Iowa, etc, and wow was it different than what I'm used to! Beautiful country, but if I look out my window in the middle of the night and don't see cars and people, I'll feel like there's no one left in the world! Scary!

Even made this mother of 3 via C-section feel sexy!

Hey, a plunging v-neck will do it everytime! Jesse (DS12) was my c-section, and I still have a little more lower tummy than I'd like to have. How great for you that after 3 sections, you are so confident with your figure. :worship: That's wonderful!

Just wait till you see my Speedo!

grim pirate:

Hey! Wait a minute! :3dglasses

Okay! I got my glasses on, you can go ahead and don your speedo~ :rotfl:

I currently have a black two piece "speedo" with a tank style top. When we go to NC, outerbanks for vacation, I'll hit the clearance racks there for a new suit (or two.):teeth: We go to the beach in August so all the beach shops have their current stock on clearance. I take full advantage of the clearance sales cause there's no way in h*** I'm paying $80 for a swimsuit! I average spending about $30 a suit. :cool1:

KKB: You're are not lowly, nor are you alone- we have another family from the West coast-grim's from Phoenix, AZ :sunny:

and if you want lists;) I got lists! and lists and lists of lists and index cards made from those lists! :rotfl:

Tig,
What's the Monorail Red??

I just bought 2 ribbed tank tops today at Old Navy, one pink and one yellow. They're going into my suitcase. Hey, I'm almost all packed, for real! I keep telling DH to start packing, he better not make us miss the boat! :boat: He doesn't want to hear about the cruise, because he says I'm giving him a :headache:
:cheer2: Cruise cruise rah rah rah!!!

Hi Aisling

I hope you don't mind if I answer this.

THE MONORAIL - WALT'S WELCOMING VISION
Beginning with the Walt Disney World opening in 1971, the Mark IV "Monorail Red" greeted visitors from around the world and conveniently transported them between locations within the resort. Disney Auctions is offering the nose section of Monorail Red, which was decommissioned on January 23, 1993 following more than 20 years of service. By the time "Monorail" Red was decommissioned, it had logged a total of 943,976 miles - the equivalent of 38 trips around the circumference of the Earth.

Actually, the way I found this was on MSN explorer search engine. I typed monorail red & the above answer was part of what came up.

Sorry people about all that nonsense that followed my post. what the heck is that? :earsgirl: :smooth: :bounce:

 Franco, check the end of my signature

The boards took away our countdown timers, and it's such a mess that I added a link into my signature to help my DISfriends like you figure out what's going on :)

Aisling and TBJ
actually, Monorail Red is the name of a DIS team I joined. I added the link cause it's too much to explain, check it out ;)

I like your answer Mom, I shared that bit of information with my teammates ;)
I came up with the logo and name of our team. I found a mention of Monorail Red when I did a search of Disney and Red (our team color.) I liked the sound of it and so did my teammates :)

my chubby white butt back to the "Y" there will be NO Homer Simpson Brazilian style thong
grim and Franco:
:3dglasses You two really gotta warn us when you're gonna put images out there like that! :3dglasses

:wave2: Happy Friday Christmas Cruisers! :wave2:

Aisling,
All I ever wanted to do growing up was get out of this boring state! I LOVED all the big cities I visited, and frankly still do. But I found a job here (great school district), fell in love w/ another teacher, now have children, plus virtually all our family nearby. Children have 2 sets of grandparents in town, another 1 1/2 hours away (divorce situation). Only relatives farther are in Pittsburgh--which we LOVE to visit. Actually, they convinced DHs entire family trek to Stone Harbor NJ this summer for a week. What a great vacation! Would like to do it annually! Actually, Lincoln now has pretty good shopping, entertainment and dining now, and what we don't have Omaha is rushing to get. SO it is better than 20 years ago. And it is a great place to work and raise kids--and a great place to get away from! DH and I get out on "dates" and travel quite a bit w/ grandparents so close, and that is VERY nice! Plus with half a dozen big cities w/in a day's drive, I can get my fix pretty easy. Sure loved NYC when I visited--about 25 years ago!!! DEFINITELY need to fix that! So many places, so much to do!
Bye guys!
Kristin :flower:
