What is your favorite Christmas cookie? Feel free to share recipes. I need to make 7 dozen for a cookie exchange and have no idea what to bake.
 
I always make this one for a cookie exchange.

Grasshopper Bars

makes 50 bare
ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2/3 cup floour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter,softened
2 tablespoons green creme de menthe*
2 tablespoons white creme de cocoa*
1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
* (1/4 cup milk plus 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract can be substituted for the liquers,also add a few drops green food coloring.)

Oven to 350- Grease square pan, 8x8x2. Beat granulated sugar,1/2 cup butter, the vanilla and eggs in med. bowl w electric mixer on med. speed. Stir in flour,cocoa,baking powder and salt. Spread in pan.

Bake 25-30 min on til toothpick comes out clean; cool 15 minutes. Mix remaining ingred. except chocolate;spread over brownies. Refrigerate 15 minutes.

Heat chocolate over low heat til melted;spread evenly over powdered sugar mixture. Refrigerate at least 3 hours. For bars, cut into 5 rows by 5 rows;cur each bar diagonally in half to form triangles.
