Christmas Cards....

I was at the dollar tree today... they had Disney cards there..

A box of 15 for $1.00... they had Cars, Pooh, Mickey, Princesses that is just what I bought....

Last year they had Tink ones too.
I am so doing the cheap cards for family this year. They totally didn't the appreciate the ones I made from kits, so there is no way I'd make them any from scratch.

I was told by family that they just toss the cards each year..and I thought.. I'm so NOT putting all my time in for them to be thrown away.... I keep all mine..they are stored year after year.... that way the kids have records of family/friends over the years!!!

I was planning on making a memory type book out of the ones I have kept.

that was i was thinking too. that i wanted to make some kind of book with all of mine. i have them stored in hat boxes right now.

I'll do something eventually... and maybe very special ones add to the scrapbook (family/friend photos)...

It was pretty much empty except 2 letters lodged back in the back of it dated 1899!! However, we did find names that showed that the individuals involved in the letter were prominent citizens in her community... (one of the DIS members researched ancestry.com and some other searches to find this out).
