Christmas at WDW?! I think so!!!!

Well with things being tight money wise and having limited points in DVC as well as both myself and brother getting A-Level and GCSE results this august, it was hard to find a time to go this summer. So we're doing something else then probably but of course, we have to have our WDW fix!!!!!

So, Christmas it is! We're flying Delta from LHR-BOS-MCO and then staying off site in World Quest Resort for a few days then checking into Old Key West.

I absolutely cannot wait!!! But me being all Disney geeky, I am planning already! So any good restaurants that would be good for decorations or anything Christmas-y.

Never been before and I know crowd levels will be huge but cant wait.

Any advice or whatever will be great!

Congrats! Me and my friend are going back in November for Xmas time too : We planned on a short break in Dubai but as soon as we got back we both knew we needed to get back to WDW! Haha. I'm already making plans too, happy planning!

me too!! i am busy planning where we will go on what day and where we want to eat. i hope people post lots of tips about decorations because i am obsessed with them!! im planning on getting to the parks at rope drop nearly everyday then go to see the decs around some of the resorts and to see santa in some of the resorts in the afternoon when the parks get mental!!! its so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news Jack. We are having a similar problem fitting in a holiday next year, Matt will be receiving his A level results 16th August then organize University so we need to be back for then really, just don't fancy going mid July. Can't do Easter, May or October. Maybe we should go without him

We have been 5 times at Xmas, its a crazy time to go but magical.

Thats the thing we had to do, Wayne. Other times weren't possible and early July is more expensive and also busier than when we usually go. So we decided Christmas it is! Really looking forward to it. Have booked OKW yesterday with our points, flights are booked today and will be looking for World Quest tonight.

happy planning. I would love to go at Christmas (I'm a bit of a Christmas fanatic) and hope one day to at least be there to see the decorations even if we don't actually make 25th December. I keep telling the family I need my birthday over there too (31st December) so there's hope somewhere for the future. Good luck with those results.

i love visiting all the different resorts to see the xmas decorations - especially the Grand Floridian - with its huge gingerbread house in the lobby..

I love Christmas time and can't think of a more magical way to spend it than right at Disney. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because I have to choose between the heat of the sun and Xmas decorations .... and I can't give up my sun. The only way I can see to get around it is if we were to leave in October and then come back after Easter

I think it must be such an amazing time to be there though. Enjoy your planning

Great news! We'll be there 17/12-8/1. Doing BLT/AKV/VWL for first family trip as DVC members!
Just to note, if you want any meals in WDW, book early. The 180 day window will be opening in next few weeks. I'm getting set for booking tomorrow
