Christmas at Universal?

We will be at Disney Christmas week but want to do a day at Universal (for Butterbeer and the Hulk!). I was wondering if Universal/IOA closes bc of capacity like Disney Parks typically do on Christmas day. If so what time do we need to be in the park to make it in before capacity is reached?

Not as frequently, but they have.Wait times will be HUGE either way. I would make sure you are at the gates at least an hour before park opening ( I woulddo 90 mins before ).They tend to open gates about 15-30 mins before official opening time.It takes a lot of time to park the car in the huge garage and walk from the garage thru citywalk to the parks
