The Christmas shows and decorations are great and you can hear Christmas music all through the parks.

Shamu's Believe show is very well done. The Sesame Street Christmas show and meet and greets are very cool (Big Bird is in the show:thumbsup2).

Polar Express is better than ever with the train. Great photo ops!

There is a new(ish) area (over near where the horses used to be)to have pictures taken with animals. (We posed with a baby kangaroo :))

Glad you loved it so much! We were there last week and were actually disappointed because we missed a lot of the special Christmas stuff - they were scheduled so late. The youngest two children had no chance of staying in the park so late, and the rest of us were so tired that we didn't complain when they started fizzling out and we needed to leave. I did love all of the trees and the music though.

It was weird. We had come from Universal, where the parks were closing at 6 and 7 PM (US and IOA, respectively). Then we went to SeaWorld and it was pretty dead, but the park was open until 11 PM. I wish SW had closed earlier too so the special Christmas shows would have been earlier.

Maybe we'll get to enjoy SeaWorld Christmas more another year. . .

We were there yesterday and it was brilliant. The crowds were very manageable, and the Christmas show and fire works were lovely. The show was at 6:30 pm, certainly not too late for most kids.

We had been thinking of going to Universal and are so glad we did not. SeaWorld was really relaxing, and not fighting huge crabby crowds will improve your Christmas mood for sure! :-)

My DH and I planned our day there on Dec. 17th to see all the Christmas shows, but we wound up tired and left after Sea of Trees (which I loved). I thought we could make it, but we were just too tired. I thought it was very late, too.

We loved it too. We were there last week, and it was our most favorite park to visit. It was happy, festive, relaxed and just plain fun! :thumbsup2 Decorations and music were beautiful and really got us in the Christmas spirit. :santa: Sea World did an A+ job and we couldn't have been happier:yay:

Was this a special "after hours" Christmas thing or was this included with a daily park ticket?

Last year I missed all the Christmas shows at Sw because of deaths in the family, so when I had a day off on the 22nd, we went. Wow, was I impressed on how much they had added since 2 years ago. It was beautiful, the shows were terrific. It was a good size crowd but still were able to get to all the shows except for Shamu Miracle one at 8 because of the slow crowd movement after the ice show. There was sort of a traffic jam on Bay Stadium and we just couldn't get there. They had the Christmas shows scheduled for more than 1 time. You could see Clyde and Seamore Couuntdown to Christmas, the ice skating show, and Shamu Miracle all before 8:30 if you went to the first show for each.

For anyone interested, Seaworld's Christmas celebration, including Christmas shows, polar express ride, and Christmas decorations, is still going on and will be every night through January 2nd.

And as a poster above said, the Christmas celebration is Included with park admission.

Hoping to get back again before they take down Polar Express. We opted for the pass holder entrance rather than doing the whole ride because of the 75 minute wait. I guess the walk on was something like a half hour wait, but decided since we have done the ride so often not to this time.

Does anyone still have a copy of the recent show times - especially the Christmas activities? We'll be there on Friday & I was hoping to start planning our day before we arrive. I want to make the most of it & also have a good semi-plan - we're going with another family & it sure helps when everyone isn't standing around trying to decide which direction to go next. :)

Thanks!

It's on their site.

We completely agree, Christmas at Sea World was much better than Disney to us, and we went to the Very Merry Christmas Party. It was more enjoyable we think because it wasn't as crowded and the park was better decorated!
