Anyone else a little surprised by the number of new things Disney is adding for Christmas this year?

Fireworks/projection show at DHS
New character meet and greets
New stage show
New Disney Springs experiences
Updates and additions to Holidays Around the World

It really does not fit into the traditional narrative of shutting more and more things down. It just seems like Disney is actually trying to make up for the lose of the OFL at DHS.

Wish I had more than 4 days to experience it all.

There's also the new Once Upon a Time Castle projection show at MK beginning November 4th.

There has been much more taken away then added over the years.

Will the show at DHS be as good or better than the Osbourne lights? Time will tell
New character meet and greets are always coming and going. They happen in cycles.
A new stage show that replaces an old stage show is an update, not an addition.

Having gone for at least 17 of the last 20 years in December there is a lot more that has left than has been introduced.

You missed the xmas trees at Springs.

Osborne lights going away was a big deal for many. were also in the ill wait for new lands to come start. they have to do something.
