Christmas Angel Clothes Size Question

I just pulled a Christmas angel tag from the mall today. They are asking for a doll house and clothes. She is 4 years old and they are asking for size 8-10. I was looking online (Target more specifically) and it looks like a lot of kids clothes (shirts/sweatshirts) are small, medium, large, etc. What size would 8-10 equal to?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I looked online and found varying answers. Looking at the size charts on the Target website it could be a medium or large.

I also don't have any kids or have any kids in the family so am unsure. Thanks for the help!

4-6 is small
6-8 is medium
10-12 is large.

So it will be a medium you need.
