Okay - how incredibly selfish is the person who pitched the fit somewhere in Steve's company about him working from home... people like that drive me crazy and I would be willing to bet had someone not made 'noise' it would have been just fine.

And that's all I have to say about that...

You are right... and the other thing that is irritating is this group of people get to the office.. have coffee at the coffee maker for an hour.. work for a bit.. go take a long lunch break... another coffee break... etc. Their productivity is half what Steve's is... Oh well... maybe it will work out.

I forgot to mention that I got Mickey Mail a couple days ago.

With everything that is going on.. I am am having a hard time getting excited about it. However, MVMCP tickets came!!! I was really expecting something more festive. They are kinda generic and.. just to fit with the current mood blue.

ACK!!!! I can't make a spread sheet that will work this problem out. I can move us.. and save money.. but.. if Steve doesn't go it is moot... it doesn't help anyway. I want to fix this now.. but can't.

I can't look into air fare to see what dates would work better for him to go... as we wont' know until last minute.

OMG!!! what good did booking a year in advance do if I have to wait until the last minute to know for sure what we will be doing????

Yeah.. not sure I will plan this far out again.. or at least not add other people who might be wild cards to my plans. When I booked a trip in May for September I don't think I changed much at all. that seems to be a good amount of time to book in advance.

Since there is the rumor of free dinning being released soon, it has prompted me to play on the website a bit. So I have been pricing out several things
and what our savings would be.

1. Current view at WL with fd = approx. -$7
2. Downgrade our view at WL with fd = approx -$250
3. Change to AKL with standard view and fd = approx -$650
4. Change to AKL with pool view and fd =approx. -$470
5. Change to POFQ with standard room adn fd = approx. -$2060

It is so funny to play with Disney math/numbers. Ultimately, I am not sure what I want to do. It is nice to know that I don't HAVE to do anything though and still be happy with what I have. I had thought fd would save us a couple hundred over what we currently have, but I guess that isn't the case. (maybe because rates went up since the time we first booked ) So I won't be someone who is getting up early (did that for cp) to be calling on Wednesday.

I am thinking POFQ is looking better and better!

I am thinking POFQ is looking better and better!

It does to me too... but.. secretly it has all year. I know that the extra room in WL would be nice.. not to mention the interior corridors. I just don't know though.. .we may end up at POFQ.. or maybe no where... This thing with Steve's work has me just over the edge. It was a bad day again with Zoe. (I ran out of the smaller sized caths.) I just don't know what I will do if we don't go to WDW in December.

Noooooo! Don't give up on the trip! I just saw the rates for AP holders for the Fall and am trying to take a quick trip in December to see you! No pressure there. LOL I always wanted to stay in AKL and its the same price as staying in POFQ (both standard rooms).

I do... but Steve does too. I am just so frustrated. He had approval from his boss to work from home. He puts in long days no matter if he is working from home or not. He worked all those days.. and now HR has him needing to get documentation from the doctors that Zoe even had surgery. Zoe requires round the clock care now so I am just not sure what I am doing... I have to go to work in order to pay for the trip (my job mainly just covers vacations) ... but I also have to tend to her. I am hoping Kira will go with me today and sit in the car with her while i run in and out of stores.. that way I can cath Zoe in between jobs.

Really? I would love to see you in December!! I might switch our resort... but then I might not. Just when I think I have it worked out... I don't. I did the math with what Steve might accumulate in vacay time if he doesn't use any for sick... he would have enough to flat out take the 11th through the 18th. I could switch resorts and take Kira from the original dates.. book a second room from the 11th through the 18th for Steve, Josh and Zach... I don't know. I am not sure I want to do anything just yet. I know when I told Steve I could switch to POFQ(to add the 3 people for the week of the 11th through the 18 in a room at POFQ and move the main reservation over to PoFQ would only cost a total of $180 more than our current reservation.) Steve seemed irritated and said "do what you are going to do" and "it just seems like you haven't wanted to stay at WL this whole time and have been looking for a way to change" Have I been that obvious? Seriously though.. I do want to stay at WL.. I think being closer to the monorail resorts and MK will be awesome not to mention the interior corridors and bigger room... I could just keep that room and if Steve shows.. he shows.

However all of this will be moot if we don't get Zoe's stuff under control.

I think you are right. I just like to have everything planned. I could change things pretty easily right now. I just dont' know how easy it will be in a month or two.

And... at the thought of Zoe going with Steve to work. There would be no debating it then.

For added effect, have her tubey thing (really accruate I know) get released all over the HR person's desk. Sorry I have a evil streak towards people that make life rough for nice people. But just imagine their look like as they realize what is happening on their big important desk, because they don't realize there is a life outside of work and to try and understand everyone has different life issues that happen.

Okay maybe now I'm done venting?
