Taken on our "girls only" 2/2009 this is Zoe (and you can see Kira a little) I can't remember why, but the girls were waiting for me in Canada. I know we had an ADR at Le Cellier and I can't remember if this is before or after we ate. I did leave them to run our leftovers back to YC... so maybe they were waiting for me. I do know that they were both being so cute that I snuck up on them to get the picture.

I am super excited. Guess what I did??????


Well, first... I added one night to the Pop Century room only reservation.

Why??? Because I got airfare for Steve and Alex!!!!

I have been stalking the reward travel listings. I have been waiting for a reason to pounce. Recently I shared that we had almost enough points for the two tickets. I also mentioned that the return trip may have to be cut short because there were no available flights. Well, today a PERFECT one opened up. I always try and depart late in the afternoon or early evening. I would have handled leaving in the morning, but I didn't want to have to check out a day early (which is how it was looking). I was excited to see that they could depart mco at 5:40pm. Course, wouldn't you know... the flight out was no longer available. But...there was the one the day before! With the way airfare has been, I figured I better snatch that one up.

A quick call to 407WDISNEY (well, quick.. ) and I had changed our arrival to the 9th.

So I booked Steve and Alex departing sea at 11:46am arriving mco 11:41pm on 12/9 and departing mco at 5:40 12/22 arriving sea 12:31am 12/23. Total including purchasing the extra miles .... $90! Yes, I added another $100 to our room, but I think this will work out well. It will give the guys a chance to really enjoy Pop on 12/10. The other way, they would have just checked in long enough to sleep and then check out the next day.

Now to watch for Zoe and I. I have us already booked to fly into mco on 12/10 in the 5'oclock hour. Since we are booked on SW, if I find a flight on 12/9 instead it shouldn't cost us to change? Right? I know I would pay the difference (if there was) between the 12/10 flight and the 12/9 flight. If not, flying in on 12/10 won't be bad. The guys would just have the first night (what there is of it) and the day of the 10th to themselves and then we could all eat dinner together the night of the 10th. So... looks like I am ALMOST set in our plans. I am for the guys... they are locked in now. I just am not sure if I will be flying back on the 22nd or maybe the 21st.

I don't have a story for this pic. As I have mentioned, Alex spent very little time with us on this trip. (spring2010) I am not sure how or why we got this pic of him. I will take it though! Proof that he did accompany us on that trip.

Quick story for the day. This was taken on my last trip in September. My mother took it. Zoe and Kira were off and about and mom decided to take a pic. She was using disposable cameras to take all of her pictures. She also was losing her eye sight. Picture my mom trying to line up her good eye so that she could see through the view finder. Then trying to snap the photo. I am amazed that this picture of me turned out as good as it did. (I can't tell you how many pictures of me are horrid) My pose is the way it is because I was waiting... and waiting... and waiting... Oh yes... and waiting some more for her to get the picture.
