Wow Ann I can't believe your trip is coming up real soon. I wish I was still going in Dec but I have my March trip all set up and plus I will be able to celebrate a belated bday for myself and my daughter who will be turning 15 a few days before we leave.. My mother and I plan to make it special for her. We are going to have a dinner at California Grill, get her a in room celebration package and i'm not to sure what else we may end up doing for her. I was also able to score a room at the AKV-KV with a Savanna View for a few nights. We will be staying in three different resorts the whole time we are there. So I guess we will be living out of our luggage but that's cool.

On another note.. my DH was finally able to find a job they will be sending him a Contingent Offer Letter today. The sad thing is that he will be going overseas for a year and he will miss out on our trip but at least we will be able to get rid of our bills while he is there and move into our new house while he is gone..

Ok, so this is absolutely crazy. Things are tight right now... the trip, the holidays... steve having to go without pay...etc. So I DO NOT need to look further into this!!!

However, today there is a flight from Seattle to DL for 101 RT!!! $101RT

Can you believe that? I am so tempted... tempted... tempted...

We have not been to DL in years... like about 5.

I would be tempted, too! That is SUPER cheap! Believe it or not, our February trip is is still almost three months away and I'm already pricing airfare for a return in July!

I would love to check out DL someday... hmm....

WOW!!!! That is really cheap airfare. Andy, our oldest, is going to DL in January. We've never been.

We used to only go to DL. It seemed reasonable since it was just south of us and so only a 2 1/2 hour flight. Also, a 5 day was MORE than enough to get everything done since the two parks are across the walkway from eachother. We have not been since 2007 and there has been A LOT of refurbishments and all out changes. Next time I go... I am sure it will seem like the first time again since things will be so different. Things I do wish were at WDW though... POTC (bigger dropat the start) IASM (the exterior of the building is amazing) Storybook canal boats (very magical) and even HM is a bit more my favorite as it fits into a "NewOrleans Square" theme

I am so glad to hear that he got a job. I wish it didn't take him away, but... at least he got a job.

You should check out DL someday. If airfare is right.... There are a lot of new things... However, I would never stay on property there. Rates are much higher than at WDW. There are no values... no moderates and I want to say that the rates are even higher than that of the deluxes at WDW. It is better to say at a "good neighbor" hotel and walk to the park. (yes, the parks are that close to hotels) Once we stayed at the cross walk that led to the gates...it was nice.

I am still trying to find those great southwest deals yesterday! I was hoping for a good price for San Diego...remember I have about $100 in credit for each of us...but looks like all that will get us is roundtrip to Dallas (not much fun for us) and not even 1 way to San Diego!

I am already dreaming of a girls trip in 2013...think we can all stay together that long...or drag out our TR until it is time to start the 2013 joint PTR!

The deal I found for the 101 rt was on alaska... so that doesn't help you.

I agree on the 2013 trip! We all just need to drag out our TRs until it is time to book and plan. Lets see I will have 14 days to report... so one a week... that is 14 weeks. Hmm... then if I divide it by two and do half a day a week.. that make 28 weeks. So a good six months. Ok... not sure if I can do it but it is worth a try.

I think we are all busy right now. I can't believe how close we are to going. I am trying to get things done... but sadly... I am not getting too far. I seem to have caught yet another bug. Chest cold no less had me up coughing all night.

I did manage to get a ton of packing done tonight. You could tell I was not feeling well though cause Steve came home and I had a melt down (not like me to start crying) and just sobbed. I couldn't get the cath boxes to fit in the carry on. I asked if he would put them in his and he said he wasn't going to bring a small suit case so no. What he meant was not what I took it to mean... but as soon as I calmed down enough I noticed what he meant...easy peasy he fit a box into his luggage to be checked.

Also another sad moment...and yall can laugh if you want. I knew I had put on a few pounds over the course of this year. I mean... maybe 5 pounds total..but last time I checked it was only like 3. I knew my pants were a bit more snug... but I tried on the shirts that I had planned to bring. Lets just say that I need to no longer attempt to wear that size. Can I get into it? yes, should I.. no

As for the weight, unfortunately I can relate. Looking at our photopass pics from our Nov stay, I'm kicking myself for both my choice of clothing and how much baggage I put on!! GRRRR!! We have 9 days, maybe we can shed a few pounds those days?

I'm sorry about you getting a chest cold- I hope that it clears up before the trip! Thankfully K and I didn't get anything from Damien, but I think that my SIL did when she came over yesterday! We keep the house pretty cool though so that germs can't grow too much (that's at least what I have heard) we keep it at 65 degrees during the winter and if we are cold (which I seem to be the only one ever cold) we put on sweatpants and a long sleeve shirt!

I'm glad that you figured it out! I hear you on the stress, I snapped at K last night for letting the puppy out because it blew everything around when the door opened!!! But I'm glad that you got something done-- I did too I am about to post EVERYTHING I got done last night!!! 'm VERY proud of myself! Tonight I plan to do more I just have to get to the post office today to complete the rest!

And your jeans story... Yeah I feel the same way! Maybe after all of this trip and such are over I will really hunker down and get rid of everything!
