Chocolate ALWAYS works.

Andy yells at me all the time because I do laundry almost every night of the week. He said "my stuff hasn't been in the basket a day." Well, then do your own darn laundry, I say. I do it during the week so I have some "me" time on the weekend. They just DO NOT get it.

Sadly, guys just don't get it some of the time.

I am sorry these hubby's (except Kathy & Susan's, it seems) are not as into Disney and the planning that goes into them and trying to make EVERYONE happy. Kathy - Do you think we could borrow Mark as stand-in for our trips??

I'm pretty sure I will be doing laundry at some point, too - maybe that is where we have our DIS meet. Your place or mine?

Anyway - I hope your day has gotten better, let me know if you need more chocolate, I'm going to be all alone this weekend... here comes my small vent... Eddie and boys just left to go out to family ranch (Tammie - they are probably 2-3 hours north of you) to hunt, Erin is headed to a church retreat tomorrow... I asked that we have the house cleaned and laundry done and PUT AWAY before this all took place so I could enjoy a quiet weekend as well... guess what? I'm STILL in the couch club, house looks just as it did when I asked them to help me clean, so I will be doing my 'domestic diva' thing this weekend while they are all chillaxin'. DUCK FAT.

On a happy side note... I do have tickets with some girlfriends tomorrow night to the (please don't laugh at me) Breaking Dawn - Twilight series... I'm in it for the popcorn.

Ack, your weekend sounds like mine is going to... Sorry that you didn't get the help you wanted. That sucks!

As for the movie I won't laugh at you. I know it is a big deal to a lot of people.

Book the sleigh ride if available and if he doesn't want to go leave him in the room rather than enjoy the sights. Do not do what I did and spend all day waiting for them, do your thing with whoever wants to. Steve is a big boy and "should" be able to take care of himself. Also, only worry about your laundry and Zoe's laundry. If the boys want theirs done they can learn how to do it.

I am thinking of doing the carriage ride instead. That way little less cost and if he is up to it, yay.. but if not then I am not spending money for something that he has no interest in. If I understand it.. you also don't have to book in advance?

I am sorry about Steve! To tell you the truth I keep asking my DH why he's coming if he makes fun of everything and doesn't care about the plans! Just hang in there! I am sure that he'll realize he was being a big lutz and such! But I love it... Duck Fat! Maybe that's what I should tell DH when he gets home tonight from work.... "Get your own food from the stove!"

I'm really happy it's just work busy and nothing else (that might have come out wrong, but I mean it in the best of ways)!

We are going to try the CS Yak and Yeti.... I hope that it's not that bad... I mean I have to give DH SOME Asian food while there! I like the plans! It seems like a lot of good down time! If anywhere this park would be where I would want it because between this and FW I think that Damien will want to spend a lot of time he loves technology and animals!

I enjoy the cs att Yak and yeti. Good portions (enough to share really) and the food doesn't taste half bad. Now... the cs in china.. I dont like. The cs in Japan... it is..okay. We ate there last trip and I remember I wasn't impressed by something. HMMM... I may have to go back and read my own TR.

Speaking of my last TR... I hope to do a better job with my next one. I have such a hard time finding anything in it. Sure I tried to come up with appropriate and clever chapter names, but... they don't make it easy to determine what park we are in or where we may have ate.

Also, I would make a list (not in the next day or two, but soon) of all the things Steve might need for the trip and give it to him, lovingly, and say "I made this list for you. You don't have to use it, but just in case." And if he uses it great. If not, you tried. But he won't act like you are being pushy, and if he chooses not to look at it or not to remember the things he needs, he can deal with it when he gets there, not you.

Thanks so much I think that is a good idea. I gave Alex a list. I wonder if I go over that list with him it will make him realize what he may need without me pushing on him or demanding of him. Ya know though.. I hate being like that. I am not typically a person who plays games like that. If I want something done I usually just say I want it done. Maybe that is the problem... I need to be more gentle with him.

Hmm... I just realized I forgot to put in the Dinosaur and added a second viewing of MJJJP. I guess I will have to rework my plans a bit.

Not trying for sympathy here... just a bit of a vent. I think my husband is going to drive me to an early grave. I asked if he would be interested in booking the sleigh ride (don't know I even can, but didn't want to call up and see if he had no interest). It turned into a major fight. Thankfully, he went to work and I was able to spend the last hour crying. Now I feel better... mostly...but I swear if we make it to this trip it will be a miracle. Remind me again why I have him going? I think this will be the last trip I ever take with him. He can go do what he wants... I will go do what I want. Our best family vacation EVER was when we did just that. Same vacay time... different places.

Sorry you are having a tough time. My parents will only go on cruises together. All other vacations are separate lol. My dad will not step foot in Disney again until he has grandchildren.....at least that is what he says.

Ashley and I were chatting. I thought I would take over the task of putting together a spreadsheet of the where and when of peoples plans. This is an attempt to make it easier to see when we would possibly be able to meet up with eachother.

One more question... I am thinking of chopping off my hair. I want opinions. Right now... I am really thinking on top. I have allowed my hair to grow out so that I do a sort of "swoop over" and pull it back. The length of most of my hair is between my shoulder blades. However, lately I have all these weird stray hairs that are short that don't go back. (either they are broken off or my hair started to grow back a bit. I like to hope is is the later) Anyway... last trip it was nice to be able to just pull my hair back and go. Also, hair that is up in a bun or pony doesn't look bad as fine super thin hair down. Not that I plan to ride a bun of water rides...but if it rains??? But with these hairs that are all out of control... my hair doesn't pull back neat any more.

Anyway.. so get it cut? don't get it cut? If I get it cut do you think the short 2 to 4 inch long hairs will fall into place within the cut? Even when I wear my hair down they seem to have a mind of their own.

Let's see, December 9th, I have a holiday luncheon in Austin with some business girl friends of mine and that night our company Christmas party/dinner at Sullivans. So if anyone will be in Austin....

I think before you cut your hair, you should try some product to sweep the fly-aways down and keep it with the rest of your hair. I have the same issue (I think it's breakage from putting it in a towel every day after I shower). I just use a little gel, leave-in conditioner, or spray (spray on finger tips, then wipe on strays to hold back) and it does just fine.

Okay, I got mine and Betsy's and Ashleys info into the spreadsheet. it is a bit more complicated for me because there is really more than two variables per cell that I need. It isn't as pretty as I like, but already I am seeing things more clearly. Sorry.. a bit selfish of me to be able to look and see who is there when I am.

So what see is that Ashley and I will be in MK on the night of 12/19. I bet we talked about this already? Hmm...this last week has been such a blur.

Betsy and I have been coordinating for a while now...so I was not surprised to see where we share plans.

I will try and get Michelle and Susan's done tonight.
