So I know it's wicked early, but I started by buying my first Christmas present yesterday for Tim's DD9. It's a "zipit" bag that is really cool! I think she'll love it :)

With SO many people to shop for, I always start early because it's easy to do $20 here and there but $500-$1000 total in November/December is killer!:scared1:

Anyone else as crazy as I am and started shopping already? :rotfl:

You are not alone. I have a few shirts put away for dd8. I also picked up 2 sets of pj's from Justice for under a buck and they will be great gifts. I also try and do a little at a time. I even like to have it wrapped by Halloween time so I can enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas. My husband thinks I'm crazy but he also enjoys the savings. In fact today I sent away for a free Milwaukee Brewers cooler that will be a gift for DH.

How did you send away for that? I might get that for either DBF or a friend of ours :)

I've started my Christmas shopping. And, I have a pretty good list going of what to get everyone. We have 6 kids, 3 of whom have December birthdays, so if I waited, I'd probably go a little crazy. I'm almost finished with my SIL's family. :cool1:

I've also started. I don't have alot done yet, but I agree with above poster a little here and there makes it much less painful later.

For my oldest DD, I did two pandora charms and if you spent $50 you got a free braclet (I can't think of the name of it at the moment), so I spent $150 and they gave me two and we'll put those away for graduation gifts for friends later), and middle DD got two red sox items and youngest DD nothing yet, but I'm also moving foward on filling their stockings with items that have been free or nearly free at CVS and Walgreens (beauty products).

I have not started shopping yet, but on the list in my head I have :

DS - PS3 RockBand Keyboard
DS - PS3 Network Cards

He has a birthday in December too, so I get to double buy for him. Although his main birthday gift will either be a Seahawks game for him and a friend or a night at the GWL for him and 2 friends with DH.

I don't have to buy ANY presents this year! We are taking the money and going to Disney :rotfl:

Might feel weird!

I've got most of it done except my kids & the grandparents. We did some overseas travel this year & I bought gifts from there. My DS has asked for a Nintendo 3DS for Christmas & they are NOT cheap ($250). If we decide to get it I'll have a nice budget for DD.

Funny my mom and I were just talking about gifts yesterday. I have a few things put away for the kids. They still believe in Santa, but is is bad to hope that this ends before the holiday? I would love to give them an option of one large gift or a bunch of small.

I start making my list and want to start trying to get some of the family presents off of my list.

I have started as well. I have to also buy for two December Birthdays so I like to start early.

Normally I am in the middle of Christmas shopping by this time of year. However, since I am still waiting on my tax refund, I haven't purchased a single gift. Hope I don't end up having to Christmas shop in December like normal people do!

I've already started Christmas shopping as well... got some Princess dolls for DD at a Disney Store clearance sale, then I got her some PJs when they had the online clearance sale a couple of weeks ago.

We went to Idlewild amusement park this weekend and I got her a mail bag (Mr. McFeeley's) from Mr. Rodger's Neighborhood. I'm going make and embroider some felt pieces of mail & packages to go with it.

I make a lot of items, so I have to get started early if I'm going to get it all done. DD's birthday is also the week after Christmas so it's a LOT of gifts to shop for all at once.

For us we have one December birthday (Tim's DD7) so I hear you on double buying! Plus I also have both mine and DBF's birthdays in November right before Thanksgiving and 5 days apart! Fun stuff :)

I have to start working on my spreadsheet for this holiday....don't know how I am going to set it up on my PC--last year I used my Mac.

I have kinda started writing down things people might like for the Holidays. If I buy gifts this year it will be for...lets see.....
12 adults
3 kids
+ A few bags for charity

lol I smell too many adults on my list:lmao:

Of-course I JUST now realized I forgot to get the gifts I wanted from Disney. UGH!! I might have to wait until January after my next trip to give out gifts. Darn.

I have a few small items that I've gotten on sale, that I have tucked away and I did buy 2 Hasbro Groupons to use on presents. I usually start when the kids go back to school.
We are going to The Cape so I'll probably grab a few things there for some family members.

I have started as well. Haven't gotten much (except for my furbabies! Their almost done...I spend a small fortune on them). I do have my list put together but some are electronics and I want to wait till I get closer to christmas before ordering them.
I did get some starbucks gift cards off my rewards so those are some free christmas gifts.
also bought a candle warmer and wax for a gift.
Would love to hear whats on others lists!! It definately gives me ideas:thumbsup2

I have already started as well! Got DD10 4 pairs of blue jeans at Target recently for $3/pair!!! Also got her a shirt and some other really super cheap bargain clothes. For DS2, I have been hitting the Target sales too. Got him a huge take apart truck thing to do with Daddy for like $5. And a game for his Leapster and some other boy toys. DD will prob be getting some of the movie from Walmart's day after turkey day sale this year and a small cd player type stereo. I also have a few of the adults presents done too.... can't start too early you know! They I would have to spend way too much at once and I save money this way too- it's all on clearance! :lmao:

I'm pretty much done except for my DH and more for my DGS. I have a lot of kids that I buy for and I was able to take care all of them when the big Disney store clearance was on. Personalized Rapunzel throws for the girls and personalized fleece vests for the boys. Picked up great Disney golf towels for stocking stuffers for DH and DS. Coach sale last week took care of my DDIL. Go to the lenox.com website right now. They have their Christmas in July sale going on. I've purchased beautiful personalized ornaments for my DS and DDIL and my DGS and DN. I got great lenox mickey nightlights for my goddaughters for $14.95. They're gorgeous. They came yesterday. DS is getting a gift card. Lots of gifts with lots of savings and they're paid for and done:banana:
