Hi everyone. Long-time loiterer, first-time poster here!

As with some of you I'm dithering about booking for Christmas 2011...as I hope to go the week before Christmas (18th to 21st, 3 nights/4 days), I was wondering if the 50% flash sales would ever cover this period? Is it worth hanging on in case an offer crops up??! At the moment it's £600+ for 2 adults, one child and one infant at the Cheyenne - have stayed there twice before and loved it - with the one day and one night free offer.

Also, has anyone ever travelled by Eurostar over this period? What can I expect to pay? Guessing it'll be much more than normal due to increased demand...I'd be leaving from Ebbsfleet by the way.

Thanks so much - any advice gratefully received!

Welcome:)

Not sure if the flash sales would cover the Christmas period as they tend to be busy then. Also know one knows if they will have any 50% off this year.

Eurostar will probably book very quickly too, the cheaper seats tend to be released first & price increase as days go by.

Thanks Nikki.

Previously had the luxury of being able to visit during term time in the Christmas season but DD1 is now at school so it's not really an option. :rolleyes1

I'm sure it'll be worth it though!

Really hope I can get a good Eurostar deal if I book early enough as for us it was a great way to travel.

I'm excited and I haven't even booked yet!
