My birthday is November 25.
Ok, is this sad or what? I don't leave until this coming Monday night for DW, and after reading this thread I'm already tempted to try to set up another trip in December. This whole meet up idea regardless if it's an organized series of events or non-RSVP casual meet ups sounds like a lot of fun.
You can add my birthday: July 25th
Add my bday 9/23 and planning on being there Dec 1st -15 at least so my idea is We can have a bunch of meets that I will attend so everyone can come join me and would still aim for singles since as of now I will be down there alone thats why I made the thread to begin with.
9/23 is my son's birthday! Mine is 9/29!![]()
Hello everyone,
This year I will have no one to travel with. I really wanted to go to Disney, but was so nervous at the thought of going solo until I read all of the wonderful posts. I was wondering if any of you have done Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party or the Christmas Party solo? I really wanted attend one of these events and worried that I would feel out of place. Any suggestions for attending the parties would be appreciated.
My travel dates are still up in the air, but at this point I am leaning towards the week after Thanksgiving. Thanks!!
Ok, now I'm curious as to how I should go about planning this. I leave on Monday for the current trip. I've been looking at room rates for December and they don't look bad. Should I wait till I arrive and see if there's a bounceback offer for December, or should I start making reservations before I go?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Unless you have a time sensitive PIN, I'd wait. Not too much should happen between now and the end of your trip.
Geez call me a slacker...
Wasre: You know I think you should come in December.
TO THE WHOLE GROUP: Did anyone like the ideas of reserving a private Illuminations viewing area, or a fireworks cruise, or a big dining ressie as a group, or anything that might cost some money up front? Or do we want to keep things more casual, in general?
I'm really fine with either - I was just curious as to what, if anything, I should bother looking into.

To keep the thread alive - I have some questions that ya'll can chime in with an answer on:
1) How are you handling flights and where are you finding good deals? Through the airline websites? Expedia? Travelocity? CheapFlights? Travel Agent?
2) Would you prefer a meet-up activity to be based on the number of 'registered' google calendar peoples (i.e. the more the merrier), or would you prefer an activity be on a specific day (i.e. Friday night, Tuesday afternoon, etc).
3) Would you prefer an organized, food related meet-up that requires ressies, or a loose, 'we meet here and go on rides as a group' type meet-up?
