Christmas 2006...HELP!!!

Ok guys. I need some advice. We are planning on making a before-Christmas-Christmas-trip to WDW next year. I had originally planned on Dec 1- Dec 11. (We want to be there for the Christmas celebrations and decorations but not the crowds) Now that I've been reading more and more of these threads I'm seeing that this is actually a "sold out" time to go. One thing that I keep hearing about is the Pop Warner kids are there at that time every year.. (#1..WHAT is a Pop warner kid)

So what do you guys think...Is this a good time to get the full disney Christmas experience without the crowds...or is there a better time?

I just booked a room, actually 2, at ASMovies this week for Dec 10, 2006 - Dec 16, 2006.

We are planning a trip for the same time in 2006. I checked the first week in December for this year, and there is not a single on property resort available for the whole week- but there is some of the days available. Still, it looks like it's going to be really crowded. At least it's still value season rates!
