Christmas 2006(!) - Any thoughts on week?

I just looked at the calendar for next year. Thanksgiving is on the 23rd!! That seems rather early.

Does anyone have any thoughts on which week would be better? Would the week after Thanksgiving be better than the first full week in December? I'm looking to take my parents, DM might rent an ECV, DH - definitely in an ECV, and my DD6. Don't worry, we'll drive to the parks - no bus issues!
This would be our first Christmas down there. Based on past history, is there a Christmas party (sorry, can't remember the initials right now) that week? Are the crowds better the week after Thanksgiving, even though its so early? I guess the Pop Warner kids would be there that first full week in Dec?

Any thoughts and advice is greatly welcomed and appreciated. We just bought SSR and need to book at our 11 month window, which I just realized is fast approaching.

If I were to have to make a choice, it would be for the week immediatly after Thanksgiving. With Thanksgiving coming so early in '06, it should keep the crowd down a bit. I believe MouseFest doesn't start until the 7th, at least the land portion and the Pop kids would most likely be down the first week-end based on past history.
