Well, I think our family is finally ready to be at Disney FOR Christmas. We've always gone the week prior and left before the crowds come in. However, school vacation changes have taken that away. We plan on going down several days prior to Christmas '07 and staying until the 29th or 30th.

I would appreciate some advice from those who have gone at this time. We are pretty experienced visitors to WDW. However, we are newbies when it comes to a visit like this.

Thanks in advance! FWIW, We'll stay at VWL.

Subscribing! We're also looking into going that week and I could use any tips/info I can get!! ;)

My family has gone twice and spent Christmas at Disneyworld. We love it! Yes there are huge crowds. So if you don't like that, don't go. We just went early to the parks rode the major rides and did shows and rested the middle of the day. We had Christmas dinner at the Castle. That was my favorite. We went Christmas 2005 last and it was freezing on Christmas day. And rainy. So we spent the day in DisneyQuest. Took our own small tree and stockings. Santa Mickey left us small gifts each day. And our big one Christmas morning. (usually the thing we most wanted from Disneyworld). Can't wait to go back with my new DF next year.

It will definitely be crowded, but still a great vacation. My advice is to make ALL reservations as early as possible. Anticipate anything you might need one for, and make it ahead of time. I believe you can make ADR's up to 180 days in advance, but I'm not sure about hotels. We live close by, so don't do the hotel thing!

We will be there too for Christmas 2007. We have been during Christmas before, its actually my favorite time to go. Its crowded but we do what we want, don't rush around, and just enjoy the time together. We are already planning. We can't wait.

Christmas 2007 will be our first in WDW. My childrens dad & I (we are no longer together, but really great friends) are taking them for Christmas. I am looking at Dec. 17-27 or 29. I for one am very excited and I have started planning everyday & thing. Santa Mickey will come each day of our trip until Christmas Day and leave us a little something from spending money to WDW hoodies. During our trip in Sept 07, i will be stocking up on some items for our return trip. Then have one kinda big present Christmas day, a PSP game & dvd, and Seaworld for the 26. I have most of our agenda ready, so we can make sure we have enough money, I would love to do the Castle for dinner on Christmas day but i have no princesses just princes. So i am considering LTT or Chef Mickeys. Then on Christmas Eve, we will have breakfast w/ Lilo & Stitch, a DQ day, a rest day, maybe just maybe a waterpark day if it is warm enough. This is going to be on long secret for 12 months. But it will be a nice suprise when they think that they are going to spend the week at their dads house and we end up at the airport. I found this very nice little Christmas tree at Shopko that will be perfect, and their grandma is tatting ornaments for the tree. I cant wait.

I am so excited. I think that I am more excited than the kids. We are going to try and do MVMCP. We have never done that before. We went to Chef Mickey's and loved it. Would like to go back there. We are staying 10 nights.
All Star Movies. Flying down and using ME. We won't be doing the parks everyday. We are going to go to all the resorts and look at the decorations. I can't help myself, I am so excited already.
