It's a metaphor. A lamb is a perfect, innocent animal, and Jesus has the same qualities.

Don't worry, I believe in what you believe and as Christians, we just have to understand that everyone has their own opinion and all we can do is just pray for everyone and in hope that one day they will understand what we believe in.

i agree, Christianity or any other religion, or belief is nothing to joke about, no matter how much you don't agree or like it. It's someones own belief and personal choice.

I'm sorry if what I said offended you, but that was not the way I intended it. I have ditzy moments, forgive me for having a brain fart. I don't practice the same religion to a T that you do, forgive me for making a joke about my stupidness.
I don't think anyone can say they haven't had a "Duh :goestoslapforehead:" moment. Mine was obviously something I felt more leniant than others do, but I can't please everyone.

The bible can be a very intimidating book to just pick up and start reading. I would recommend (especially those who like to think) CS Lewis' Mere Christianity. It can answer alot of your questions.
