:wave2: Good morning all

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Gal. 6:9

Good morning everybody! :) Thank you for sharing your "Thankful" lists. It's uplifting and encouraging to read them! :)

Thank you guys for the great scriptures, too!

hi, everybody!!! (wish i could type in dr. nick's accent).

here's my list:

1. God's grace and mercy.
2. Jesus' sacrifice.
3. Holy Spirit wisdom and guidance.
4. my family.
5. ability to work.
6. being a texan and an american.
7. a Spirit filled, God directed church.
8. a man like walt, who got things started, and whose values
i hope that the company moves back to in the near future.
9. being able to travel freely, and enjoy the world that God
created for us.
10. a nice home to come to.
11. good health.
12. good friends who help keep me pointed in the right direction.
13. a president that i can respect in and out of the title.

i think i'll stop with a lucky 13 list, i could go on forever with all the blessings that come from above, but i've got to get other things done and besides i can always start up where i left off next time.

Hey Phil! Thanks for posting your list. :)

Hey there Michelle, ;)

Hi there! I tried to find the lyrics for "Still the Cross", but can't. I posted it several pages back...early Sept. You can get the cd from the FFH site for 9.97...it is backordered at the moment though.

Well, I'm off to set up the fair and will be offline for a while.

Take care!

Hey all! Sorry to be such a stranger! Thanks for singing the BryanD songs Sarah :sunny: ! We are just living in a time right now where I can't get here as often as I would like. But not a day goes by where I do not think of you all and pray for you! It's so good to see ALL of you here talking, singing, or just popping on when you are only able to do that!!! I love you all! :grouphug:

I am so glad that the last Hurricane is through. I hope it is the last!

I have a list of thanksgivings too:

1.) For God and His Awesome love for me to create me and call me His precious child!

2.)For Jesus and His sacrifice for us and for the daily grace mercy and forgiveness He covers me with!

3.) For the Holy Spirit leading and guiding convicting and encouraging everyday!

4.) For Jesus' resurrection which assures us of our eternal home beyond the grave and EMPOWERS us to live in Him to touch those around us with His love...for HIS ultimate GLORY!

5.)For my life everyday as challenging as it can be and for the promise that He walks beside me and CARRIES me (most of the time He carries me!)

6.) For a loving family who support and encourage me in my faith in Jesus and in the roles He has placed me in.

7.) For a husband who loves me unconditionally and loyally and who is my best friend!

8.) For three wonderful children, belonging to the Father but entrusted to my care, who daily bless and challenge me!

9.)For my mom...she's the best mom I know!

10.)For my friends both on the computer and in my own neighborhood! I love you guys and all of the ways you pray and encourage!

11.) For the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, full of truth and grace and instruction to LIVE!

12.) For a home and food and clothing and PROVISION above and beyond my basic needs.

13.) For the beach and any time spent there!

14.) For music and the ability to be touched by it and to use it to Worship and Praise God.

15.) For prayer and the open line of communication I have been promised by my Father...the creator of the Universe and the lover of my soul!

And the list could go on and on forever...but what a good exercise in gratitude and looking at your priorities!!!! Jeanne I like that you have pages and peages of journals like that. What a wonderful testimony to God's love and the way he HEARS and ANSWERS us and in the BLESSINGS He constantly bestows on us! I should make it a point to write those things down too.

I hope to get the new FFH CD soon!

Sarah, the Women of Faith Conference was EXCELLENT!!! You will be so HOPE-FILLED hearing all that is shared and with all of the worship with thousands of women that takes place! I especially like Nicloe Johnson, the dramatist, Babbie Mason and Kathy Trocolli, and ALL of the speakers!I'm praying for all to go well so you can attend with no hinderances!
:sunny:

Jilly, can you see this smiley? It's the one I emailed you earlier, I hope he shows up. :) If you still want to put him in your signature you should just be able to copy his info and paste it there. :)

Wooohoooo!! Thank you for sharing your list, too, Jill!

I hope everybody's having a good day! :)

I'm watching a tribute to Jake Hess on television... what an incredible talent he was. And what a huge heart and gracious spirit he embodied.

The Statesmen Quartet, the Cathedrals, JD Sumner- what can be better than the strength and joy these guys emanate? It's been so sad as we've bid so many of these old friends goodbye over the past few years.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phillippians 4:19

Hi Kathy! :) YAY Kathy's in the house!! lol ;) Thanks for posting. I miss Jake Hess. He had such a pure spirit about him and so loved to sing. I really enjoyed watching him with the Gaither Homecomings.
And JD Sumner was so fun to listen to. What an amazing deeeeeeep voice!

Hi Sheree'! Thanks for that scripture. :)

Hi Fur! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_2_6.gif' alt='Dog 6' border=0></a>

Your welcome. Sometimes I go through stuff and then realize I may not be the only one who needs to be encouraged!!!

i've seen an incredible doc on the pbs station here that chronicles elvis' love of gospel music and the people that he worked with thru the years, actually produced by bill gaither. i wondered who went on vacation and allowed that on a pbs station? lol :) but anyway, it's a great show and if you get the chance, see it.

Elvis ya say? <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_5_137.gif' alt='Male Entertainer 4' border=0></a>

STILL THE CROSS

FFH – STILL THE CROSS
From the album – STILL THE CROSS
Label – Essential (2004)

Sometimes it seems the world unraveling around us
We feat it all my one day come undone
We can’t forget the One who came before us
To forgive the past and bring hope for what’s to come

When it all comes crashing down
The cross still stands alone
And on this our faith is built
And our courage is made strong

chorus:
When the world fall apart
And ou fear for your heart
There’s a tower of peace
It’s still the cross
So bring your sick and your poor
And your longing for more
To the place of relief
It’s still the cross
There is hope for the lost
It’s still the cross

Sometimes it seems that I have been forgotten
I don’t know how I will make it on my own
But the One who said I will never be forsaken
He still hears my prayer and I will never be alone

When it all comes crashing down
The cross still stands alone
And on this my faith is built
Any my courage is made strong

Though the world may not confess
You and Your holiness
One day all will see
You in all Your majesty
And the cross will stand alone
As the place where You made known
Your love for all mankind
Till then in it we’ll hide

Blessings,
Edie
