I'm blessed!!!! Thanks for asking. I red al the time, just don't post as much as I used to. However, you all are forever in my prayers

Me too, Sheree! You know what we have something in common, we both have birthdays in September! ::yes::

Hello fellow September birthday person. I think that September is a great month to be born in::yes:: :teeth:

Hello everyone!

I feel like a stranger here. I haven't posted in a couple of weeks.

I'm glad to here Princess Michelle that you guys made it through the hurricane unscathed God watched over you guys, because that could have been horrible.

Our family unfortunately was right in the midst of things. We were at the Coronado Springs. But you now what, God wrapped is arms around us and protected us and the most wonderful part about it was we felt his warmth. If anyone know what I'm talking about, it's that feeling you get durning Christmas time, when it's really cold outside and all of your family is home and you are just enjoying each others time and company. It's the warm fuzzy feeling. That is the way we felt August 13th while in our resort room. It brings tears to my eyes because, we don't get hurricanes here in MD and our first one we experienced came through like a theif in the night. That's God, and all we could do was thank him for keeping us and the people around us safe.

God moved in my heart the next day. I got up to wash our laundry before heading out to the parks and walking back God told be me help out. I said God, how do you want me to help out? I'm on vacation, there is very little I can do. He said go ask for a broom. I went and asked one of the housekeepers for a broom. He said now sweep the debis from the walkways. I obeyed. You know I got strange looks from people but you know I was doing Gods work. When I returned to the room, DH was wondering what took me so long all I could say was, "It's the least I could do". I thought I would share this with you guys. sometimes God tells us to do things and we have no reason why, still I have no reason why he told me to sweep. But you know what I dare not want to know what would have happend if I did not obey his word.

God is so good my family and me. Even though I've never met anyof you, I feel as if I've know you all forever. That's God again moving from breast to breast.

God Bless
Kim

That's what I think too! :teeth: LOL Expect my birthday tends to fall on Labor day weekend( Mine's sept. 5th), so I might have to work on my birthday this year!

Hi Kim, it's good to see you! I am glad to hear you and your family made it through the hurricane( to bad it had to happen when you were on your trip). That is so awesome how God worked through you( He sure does have a plan for all of us)! And I feel the same way as you do, I feel like I have know everyone here forever and I have never meet any of you yet( well I will get to meet princess: in October, I can't wait)!

Hey CS, Sarah and Jeanne! :wave2:

Kim, I'm so glad that you and your family were kept from harm and yes, I do fully understand that feeling of warm safety that you are speaking of. It's amazing when His peace just takes hold of you in the worst of situations and you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that no matter what the outcome He is right there with you. Thank you for posting about your experience of being obedient to what you felt He wanted you to do. It is a big encouragement to me personally and probably to others here as well. You just don't know who might have been touched by that simple act or how God can and will use it for His glory. Even if it was just for you, to strengthen your own personal walk with Him. It was more than worth it and I know that God took great delight in your obedience. You swept that walk because He asked you to and in your obedience you gave Him great worship. Thank you for setting a wonderful example for your fellow believers to be faithful to the Lord no matter what He asks of us.

Michelle,

You put the words right into prospective for me. Sometime God just tells me to do something and I don't know why. He's never led me astray.

I was just looking at your web site you are truly a beautiful person inside and out. We have a couple of things in common, 1. our love for Christ, 2. We are the same age and 3. Our love for WDW. Hopefully soon DSIL and I will have our own web site up, as soon as we find a web host. I think it's a great way to share pics and knowlege with others.

Kim

Kim,
God bless you for your obedience. That is what He requires of us, and we may never know the reason why. What a wonderful testimony!

Hi everyone! I am quite busy getting the kids off to school, and trying to get myself motivated to begin South Beach. Please pray that I would do this, I really need to get myself under control, and am having a hard time with this.
God bless you all... love you bunches! God is so good to give us each other.

Jeanne- have you been over to the wish boards? I have a south beach diet thread going on over there. We really encourage each other in our efforts and we provide plent of motivation and support. I've been on it since the end of Jan. and have lost 40 pounds. I'm almost at my goal. My husband and I are on it together although he cheats much more than I do:teeth:

Praise Him
Praise Him
Praise Him in the morning
Praise Him in the evening
Praise Him
Praise Him
Praise Him till the sun goes down:sunny:

I used to go to WISH all the time, but went off my plan, gained weight, and now I am embarrassed and almost out of control. I just need to get myself going. I can't do it, but JESUS can! Thanks for the invitation, and as soon as the kids go back (a week from Monday) I will be there! Hold me to that, okay?!

Majesty, worship His Majesty.
Unto Jesus, be all glory, honor and praise!
Majesty, kingdom authority,
Flow from His throne, unto His own
His anthem raise.
So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus.
Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus, the King!
Majesty, worship His Majesty,
Jesus, who died, now glorified,
King of all Kings!

Hi all...just wondering if you would all pray for my mom. She got hit with a boogie board in the ocean and fell and hurt her knee. We ended up taking her to the hospital last night for Xrays and thankfully there are no fractures. When she gets home she will have to have an MRI to make sure she has no torn ligamnets. We;re praying that it is just a bad sprain. TIA! ;)

Hey everybody! :)

Kim, thanks for sharing that with us. It is really encouraging and uplifting. :)

Jill, I'm praying for your mom. I'm sorry that happened and hope she feels better really soon.

Love is calling in the wilderness
Mercy flows from everywhere we roam
Leading with the greatest tenderness
Showing us the path to take us home

As we leave this barren place
And run into Your arms of grace
We return

We will dance and celebrate
Our lives we dedicate
To the testimony of what You've done for us
Our past has been made clean
With a robe of righteousness
Your grace brought us out of the wilderness

Joy like a mighty river flows
Giving us the grace to carry on
The wind of our destiny now blows
The bitter taste of failure now is gone

As we look upon Your face
Feel the warmth of Your embrace
We return

And we will dance and celebrate
Our lives we dedicate
To the testimony of what You've done for us
Our past has been made clean
With a robe of righteousness
Your grace brought us out of the wilderness</Font>

Zion is calling me
To a higher place of praise
To stand upon a mountain
and to magnify his name
To tell all the people
And every nation that he reigns
Zion is calling me
To a higher place of praise

Good Morning Sheree'! I love that! :)

Good Morning. I was singing it while trying to get my children ready for school. Decided to share with everyone:wave:

Keep me safe, O God, for in You I take refuge.
I said to the Lord, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods.
I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips.
Lord, You have assigned me my portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 16
