Does anyone else absolutely love this song? It's one of the songs that just makes me feel like I'm in heaven when I hear it or sing it.

Now Behold The Lamb/Kirk Franklin

Now behold the Lamb
the Precious Lamb of God
born into sin that I may live again
the Precious Lamb of God

Holy is the Lamb
the Precious Lamb of God
Why You love me so, Lord
I shall never know
the Precious lamb of God

Now behold the Lamb
the Precious Lamb of God
Born into sin that I may live again
He's the precious Lamb of God

When I always didn't do right
I went left, He told me to go right
But I'm standing right here
in the midst of my tears, Lord
I proclaim You to be the Lamb of God

Thank You for the Lamb
the Precious Lamb of God
Because of Your grace
I can finish this race
the Precious Lamb of God

Even when I broke Your heart
my sins tore us apart
But I'm standing right here
in the midst of my tears
I proclaim You to be the Lamb of God

New life can begin
for You washed away, washed away every one of my sins
Whom the Son sets free, is truly free indeed
Lord, I proclaim You to be the Lamb of God

Now behold the Lamb
the Precious Lamb of God
born into sin that I may live again
the Precious Lamb of God

Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh

Why You love me so, Lord
I shall never know
Why You love me so, Lord
I shall never know
Why You love me so, Lord
I shall never know
the Precious Lamb of God

Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh

Why You love me so, Lord
I shall never know
the Precious Lamb of God

You love me, Jesus
You died for me, Jesus
You shed your blood for me, Jesus On Calvary.

Thank you for Being Bought For Me, Jesus
Thank you Jesus
For lovin' me so
Never never never know
For lovin' me so
Thank you for your blood
Why you love me so, Lord
I shall never know
the Precious Lamb of God

I know it's crazy, that we don't have any snow yet. It is really cold here though, it was like in the 20's or something today. Very, very, very cold!

Diane, I will keep you in my prayers. Please let us know how it goes.

And

princess: Sis, I do love the song you sang!

Xmas CDs

George Beverly Shea-the singer who always sings at Billy Graham crusades-he has a really deep baritone voice. I got a very beautiful (FREE!) CD from the BGEA.

Hello everyone. I'm back and had a great time. However, those crowds picked up on Saturday and made me glad I was coming back home!!!

I will bless the Lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in my mouth!!!!

Hi guys!

Welcome Home Sheree!

A little ice/snow here Sunday night. Roads were a mess.

My life is crazy. DH was in a car accident Wednesday night. He banged up his knee pretty bad (not wearing a seatbelt and he was flung across the car and took out the dashboard with his knee). It wasn't his fault though.

One of the blessings, and this is kind of funny, is that his rental truck has a very annoying bell that goes off repeatedly if you don't put your seatbelt on. The faster you go, the faster the bell dings. :teeth:

I got this in an e-mail and thought it was really neat. Sorry if you heard it before. Take care everyone!

THE "W" IN CHRISTMAS

Each December, I vowed to make Christmas a calm and peaceful experience. I
had cut back on nonessential obligations - extensive card writing, endless baking, decorating, and even over spending. Yet still, I found myself exhausted, unable to appreciate the precious family moments, and of
course, the true meaning of Christmas.
My son, Nicholas, was in kindergarten that year. It was an exciting season
for a six year old. For weeks, he'd been memorizing songs for his school's
"Winter Pageant." I didn't have the heart to tell him I'd be working the night of the production. Unwilling to miss his shining moment, I spoke with his
teacher. She assured me there'd be a dress rehearsal the morning of the presentation. All parents unable to attend that evening were welcome to come then. Fortunately, Nicholas seemed happy with the compromise.

So, the morning of the dress rehearsal, I filed in ten minutes early, found a spot on the cafeteria floor and sat down. Around the room, I saw several
other parents quietly scampering to their seats. As I waited, the students
were led into the room. Each class, accompanied by their teacher, sat cross legged on the floor. Then, each group, one by one, rose to perform their
song.

Because the public school system had long stopped referring to the holiday
as "Christmas," I didn't expect anything other than fun, commercial
entertainment - songs of reindeer, Santa Claus, snowflakes and good cheer.

So, when my son's class rose to sing, "Christmas Love," I was slightly taken aback by it's bold title.

Nicholas was aglow, as were all of his classmates, adorned infuzzy
mittens, red sweaters, and bright snowcaps upon their heads. Those in the
front row - center stage - held up large letters, one by one, to spell out
the title of the song. As the class would sing "C is for Christmas," a child would hold up the letter C. Then, "H is for Happy," and on and on, until each child holding up his portion had presented the complete message, "Christmas Love."

The performance was going smoothly, until suddenly, we noticed her, a
small, quiet, girl in the front row holding the letter "M" upside down -
totally unaware her letter "M" appeared as a "W". The audience of 1st through 6th graders snickered at this little one's mistake. But she had no idea they were laughing at her, so she stood tall, proudly holding her "W".

Although many teachers tried to shush the children, the laughter continued
until the last letter was raised, and we all saw it together. A hush came over the audience and eyes began to widen. In that instant, we understood the reason we there, why we celebrated the holiday in the first place, why even in the chaos, there was a purpose for our festivities.

For when the last letter was held high, the message read loud and clear:
CHRISTWAS LOVE

Barb, I'm sorry your DH was in an accident. I'm glad he's alright aside from the knee. Too funny about the seatbelt dinger, that'll teach him! :teeth:

I haven't ever read what you posted before, thanks for sharing it. :)

You know that story hit home with me. I teach in public schools and I have to be so careful as to how I share my faith. This story is a reminder of the power of God and how He works to help us show others who He is.

Thanks for the good thoughts for DH :)

Hi Everyone!

Welcome home Sheree! I am glad you guy's had a wonderful and a safe trip!

Barb, I hope your DH knee feels better soon.

Guess what I did today? I got my hair chopped off!

Well not all of it, only 10 inches. My hair was down to the middle of my back and now it's shoulder length. My 10 inches of hair is being donated to "Locks of Love"

Barb, I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's accident. I hope his knee heals quickly!

Sheree', I'm glad you're back safe and sound!

Sarah, as I posted on your thread, you did a great thing!! :)

Hey everybody! :)

Just checking in quick to say hi to all... and may this be a blessed Christmas and a wonderful new year! Our God has done great things. HE IS AMAZING!

Jen, I sent you a pm

Hi Jeanne, I hope you have a wonderful and a blessed Christmas

Hi all, Just making a quick stop....so much to do, so little time!

Wanted to wish you all a very Blessed and Merry Christmas. My kiddos are looking forward to it very much :D and waiting almost patiently...DS especially.

Sarah, we have a bit of snow - got 3 in. on Mon. (and a snow day....woooohoooo), but it may not last thru today... temps will be near 50. Bummer!

does anyone have the words to a Christmas song that has these words...."One silent night, one holy night...something, something....Heaven came down and changed everything"? I hear it on the radio al lot, but they never say who sings it....grrrr.

Love to you all, enjoy time with your families, thank God for His Wonderful Gift and .....enjoy some holiday goodies, there'll be time for dieting and exercise after New Year's Day :jumping1:

Not sure when I'll be back on...may check to see if anyone found my song. We are expecting puppies the end of Jan. - so life is hectic as we prepare and I screen potential buyers/homes for them(if there are in fact any pups).

Merry Christmas!

Yes He is amazing Jeanne! ::yes:: Merry Christmas!

pg

Hey PG! Welcome! I hope you'll stick around and post here when you can. Merry Christmas! :)

Hi all! God is with us! Sending you all grace and peace this Christmas!

Sarah, I am like so amazed! You see God has placed it on my heart to do what you just did! My hair is shoulder length now and I have some layers to grow out, but I have told my hairdresser and she said it will take about a year and a half to grow my hair to the right length. I have really thick hair so I figured it was a good thing to do as long as I can STAND grewing it in! I asked my hairdresser to encourage me but I told her..."If I am going insane I may bag the whole idea." She is supportive! Ever since Vinny died I have been wanting to do this and it is only a short time out of my life and ...hey...it's just hair! I used to have really long hair and I wished I had known about "locks of love" then when I wanted to get it cut shorter! Well, I hope I can stick it out! What a great thing!

Barb, thanks for the story you posted! :) I played my guitar with my son who read and sang "Mary, Did You Know?" in his second grade public school classroom this week. I was so proud of him. He shared his favorite parts and illustrations and pointed out, that in the stable picture, the beams of the stable made a cross. One of the children noticed and pointed out that each page contained a Bible Verse! Another child asked where he could get that book. I did nothing but stand and listen and strum my guitar at the appropriate time. Now, where I live has a large Christian population but there are many in my son's school who do not know the gospel. I was so thankful that my child was able to share His story and His tradition without fear. I pray that this would continue to be the way things are in our country but I am saddened to think that that is changing. I work in Christian school and my husband in public school. Right now our kids are doing well where they are but we are open to God's leading as always if things would change. I am praising him now that the story of Christmas and who Jesus truly is was presented that day in a small public school classroom where there may be kids who have neever heard the Good News of Great Joy!
Praying for your DH and praising God that he is OK.

Tash, I hope all goes well with your breeding. I'm sorry I don't know that song. It's familiar but I am not sure who sings it. I hope your CHristmas is wonderful!

Thanks for stopping in Jeanne and peacefulgirl! I hope to sing a song in a little bit! Michelle, have you any 4HIM Season of Love songs to share?
