I am reading The Purpose Driven Life, anyone else read it? Very thought provoking. It has made me re examine many facets of my Spiritual life...

Jeanne, I just finished that book a couple of weeks ago. I had the same reaction to it as yourself. It really made me look at myself and others on a new level. I wasn't really sure about reading it at first because things that are hyped so much usually end up disappointing me but I was so glad I read this book. God taught me so much through it.

Hi Everyone, am home!

I missed all of you!

We had a wonderful time at Disney World!!!!! The weather was just awesome! It did rain a little on Friday and on Tuesday night, as we were leaving the Magic Kingdom. We really liked the POFQ Resort too! It's 9:05p.m. here, but to me it feels like I am in FL time( and that would be after 10:00p.m.). I am so sleepy right now, I think I need to head to bed. I will tell you all more about it latter.

Sis, thanks for the welcome home! And I understand. One of these days we will get to meet in person( I keep praying that we will).

Hi all!

I'm on my third time reading The Purpose Driven Life. I read it as part of my church's discussion as to whether or not to do the 40 Days of Purpose. Well, we all just loved this book and went through the 40 days last Spring. I was a small group leader that met once a week to discuss each weeks reading.

We loved it so much that our small group is now meeting again to discuss one chapter a week! We are on day 4! LOL I think we will probably change the study when this is done to something other than PDL, but we have had such an awesome time building relationships.

Our church is now into this small group thing and we have many that are still meeting with different topics.

It's been a wonderful growth experience for me personally and my church!

I could really use some prayers today if any of you happen to read this. Yesterday evening I started getting a sore throat and it just got worse as the night went on and now it appears to be a full blown sinus infection. I hardly slept last night at all and I have to leave in a few minutes to help get my Grandpa settled into his nursing home and I anticipate it being a very long day. I'm very tired and I really don't feel well so prayers for strength and healing would be much appreciated. Thanks.
