Hi Michelley! :teeth: That's one of my favorite verses...glad you liked it. Thanks for sharing your calendar verses...I'm looking forward to reading them!

That's OK, you're forgiven...I think we can wait! I'll try not to cry, but hold onto Jesus until then ;) ::yes::
Have a great night, sis!

THE WAITING/4HIM

I know, you know,
We all have taken blows
At times the weight is more
Than you and I can bear
I hurt, you hurt
We live and breathe the word
But through it all it's good to know
We need to know
That Jesus is there
And you will never have to face the hurt alone

When you're waiting
Through the hard times
Hold on, don't let go
Waiting through the hard times
Will only make you strong, hold on

I cry, you cry,
Life takes us by surprise
Before you know,
It'll catch you unaware
I need, you need,
Much more than sympathy
But through it all it's good to know
We need to know
That Jesus is there
And you will never ever have to cry alone

When you're waiting
Through the hard times
Hold on, don't let go
Waiting through the hard times
Will only make you strong, hold on

When you're waiting
Through the hard times
Hold on, don't let go

You will never ever have to cry alone

When you're waiting
Through the hard times
Hold on, don't let go
Waiting through the hard times
Will only make you strong, hold on

With You By My Side

When I'm feeling all alone, and I'm far away from home,
God I need you to hear me.
When my friends all turn away, then I ache to hear you say
that you are with me through it all.

You are the light, you're the song that I'm singing
Whom should I fear when you are with me
for You are my God, and with you there is nothing I can't do
with you by my side.

When I feel all sick inside, with no safe place to hide,
God I need you to listen.
When it seems I can't go on, then I long to hear the song
reminding me you are my friend.

You are the light, you're the song that I'm singing
Whom should I fear when you are with me
for You are my God, and with you there is nothing I can't do
with you by my side.

And as I go through my life, I will keep you in my sight,
to walk with me and be my strength.
God I know your plan for me, to help all those in need
to you alone I give my life.

You are the light, you're the song that I'm singing
Whom should I fear when you are with me
for You are my God, and with you there is nothing I can't do
with you by my side.

You are the light, you're the song that I'm singing.

We stand and lift up our hands
For the joy of the Lord is our strength
We bow down and worship Him now
How great, how awesome is He

And together we sing
Everyone sing

Holy is the Lord, God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord, God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory

It’s rising up all around
It’s the anthem of the Lord’s renown

Holy is the Lord, God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
Holy is the Lord, God Almighty
The earth is filled with His glory
The earth is filled with His glory

KNOWING YOU

All I once held dear, built my life upon
All this world reveres, and wars to own
All I once thought gain I have counted loss
Spent and worthless now, compared to this

Knowing you, Jesus
Knowing you, there is no greater thing
You're my all, you're the best
You're my joy, my righteousness
And I love you, Lord

Now my heart's desire is to know you more
To be found in you and known as yours
To possess by faith what I could not earn
All-surpassing gift of righteousness

Oh, to know the power of your risen life
And to know You in Your sufferings
To become like you in your death, my Lord
So with you to live and never die.

THE LOVE OF GOD

The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

When years of time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men, who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race
The saints’ and angels’ song.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.

I didn't even catch that one, Shelley-poo! ... but I truly do love knowing everyone here!!!
:grouphug: to all!

BTW, Jen, who sings that song above? It seems so familiar , I know I have heard it but I just can't place it? I would love to do that one in church.

I just wanted to say PRAISE THE LORD!

Last Monday we celebrated my little guy's fifth birthday! Tomorrow he is having his first little birthday party with his friends from pre-school. Five years ago, he was still in Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and he had just had an MRI of his brain...he was born by C-section 3 weeks early due to a blood problem and had some major complications at birth. He was very anemic and on Jan. 4, 1999 they gave us the bad news that he had suffered a stroke. I'll never forget the Doctor sitting me and Dan down and telling us what he thought Jonathan might suffer in his life. Developmental delays and gross motor complications...basically we were to expect anything muscle and movement related to surface. Well it has been FIVE years and my baby is the picture of health!

God is truly a HEALING FATHER who so longs to see us restored and I think sometimes He enjoys stumping doctors! AMEN!!!!

I'm Praising God with you Jill!!!!

I can testify to the fact that if you met Jonathan you would never imagine there was anything ever wrong with him physically. He is such a healthy, adorable, wonderful little boy with the most pinchable cheeks ever! :teeth: He's definitely a walking, talking miracle.

Hemi-mom, praising God right along with you. Children are truly a gift from Him. Have a great time at the party!!! BTW, someone has got to show the doctors who is REALLY in charge!!!

Wow Jilly, can't believe that "little" Jonathan is 5!!!! Also can't believe that he had such health issues so early on in his life...never would have guessed it! Enjoy the party!

Jeanne...this is off topic and probably a weird question (sorry:D ), but how do you pronounce your name? Is it like "Jean" or "Jeanie"? We have a friend with the same name and some say it one way or the other and I haven't actually heard how *she* says it. Just curious!

Love all the singing here lately!

Hi Tasha,
Actually that is a good question. I prefer Jeanne, but most people call me Jeannie. I work at our church and within the last year have started to refer to myself as Jeanne (instead of Jeannie) and people made a lot of comments about it! Pastor Ben finally asked me what I preferred, and has been good about sticking with it. It is a little thing, and I really don't mind either pronunciation, but my mom always called me Jeanne (no I) , and since she has been gone I really want to use it. Does this make sense? My DH's family calls me Jeannie no matter what I do, oh well. :D My family has ALWAYS called me Jeanne. (When I was younger, I just wouldn't answer anyone who called me Jeannie, but I finally grew up a bit.:o )
Anyway, long explanation to a short question, but thanks so much for asking! As for your friend, just ask. She may be a bit surprised, but I am sure she will appreciate it. I know I do!
