I can dream about heaven constantly

I sit here and watch snow flurrying down, snow upon snow, coating the top of the 7 inches that came on Friday. It is cleaning up the mess we made as we sought to brush away the wonder of it all just a few days ago. We soiled and salted and imprinted it and now it's being dusted with a clean coat.
Isn't that just like God's grace falling down on us, daily, layer upon layer, despite the way we treated the previous covering??!Why do we get sick of looking at the clean-ness and brightness it creates and resent that it interferes with our lives, messing it up and even wishing it would all just melt away?
We need this cleansing covering to remind us of God's promise, that the mess we created and live in is not forever! We will be robed in white and look forward to the beauty of Springtime in heaven. Isn't it wonderful that through the long, dark, cold days of winter, God sends us a reminder of His constant grace and a hope for the future?
Winter is my least favorite season, however, I am thankful that through it, the Father's Heart of love is poured out on me through the darkest days.
So many are not seeing the beauty of Grace and are not recognizing the sufficiency that lies within it to sustain in ALL circumstances. As much as I long for Springtime, I am in this winter to point others to the Grace of God which saves and provides for our every need!
