Christening gift???

I was invited to a christening for a friend's twin boys. Do I take a gift? If so, any suggestions?

I always give a gift. I usually give a kiddie bible, or religious kiddie books, unless I'm particularly close to the family.

Sometimes in Hallmark they have some christening frame, what about that?

I'm with Mouseworshipin...I give a chunky board style Bible and so far all of the recipients have been pleased. The recipients have been my great nieces and nephews and when I've gone to visit, it's not been uncommon to find the baby Bible amongst the books and have been asked to read "that one". Now, for the last great niece that was baptized my DS was chosen as her godfather, so he gave her a small gold cross necklace, while DH and I gave the baby Bible.
