JandJ- thanks so much for the compliments. I remember when I first joined the boads, I loved reading about you and your wedding. I thought the pictures at the Wilderness Lodge were just lovely- that is such a beautiful resort! I always love walking around there!

Angel*Lady- Did you go to William and Mary??!!! You mentioned you were a Beta Lambda- I am pretty sure that I am too. ( Please forgive me for being uncertain! ) I don't want to write too much about my excitement, in case I am off with the chapter name! The group shot either before or after the theta shot- I think after- is our WM alum picture!!! I LOVE that place!

I loved your pictures. You were a beautiful bride. The MK photo shoot pictures were amazing.

It's so funny that you have a dance with your sorority sisters. I actually have a dance with a good friend (she's a bridesmaid in our wedding) to Kylie Monogue, can't get you out of my head. We shared an office in a former job, and on Friday's at 3 we shut the door and did a dance. As a little stress reliever. Noboby had any idea until we started to break it out at weddings.

Songs/dances with friends are the best. There is something about them- I am very shy, but for some reason, whenever our song comes on, I don't mind standing on chairs and dancing in front of extremely large groups, usually strangers. The best was that at one wedding, we actually got a microphone! I feel like I should have definitely been embarassed after that performance- I have no singining talents whatsoever, so I am sure it was painful to hear, but we enjoyed it! You have to have something to bond over!

One question for you, where did you purchase your jewelry? I'm looking for a similar necklace and earring set but not having much luck. Your jewelry was beautiful!

That is so nice that you liked my jewelry! That was actually the biggest part of my outfit that I was questioning! I wasn't ever crazy about the necklace and earrings, but my mom loved it, and she was so excited about it that I got it. I will admit that it grew on me a bit more as the evening went on!

I don't know if this will be any help to you, but I got them from a local wedding shop near my home town in Richmond, VA, called Bridal Elegance. I have no idea what brand it was or anything, as they just had everything sitting in their jewelry case...they did have tons of stuff just like that though! If you are anywhere near the area, their phone number is (804) 747-5070. The girls who run the place are super nice, and I am sure they would help you out!

Tara, thanks so much for sharing your wedding pictures! They are so beautiful! You looked stunning! Your really stood out amid the red and black. What great color choices! I love the pine cones in your bouquet and on the cake. How creative! I also love that Mickey and Minnie were in Christmas attire. The only thing I did not like was the Eagles cake... I'm a Giants fan! Your pictures are lovely and it looks like you had an amazing time! Congrats

HAHA! I do not think my husband would appreicate your feelings on the Eagles or his cake! I cannot even tell you how excited he was about that cake! My mom surprised him with it. I think Mickey and Minnie were kind of confused when we went to cut the groom's cake, and the entire reception hall erupted in "Fly Eagles Fly." ;-) Come to think of it, I was a bit confused. I am an Eagles fan by association- I am from VA, so I have been gradually introduced into this strange football world!

On a serious note, thank you for all of the nice compliments! I was very hesitant to use the pine cones, but I saw a picture of a bouquet with pine cones on the internet over a year ago, and it was the only bouquet I had seen that I fell in love with. Disney did a wonderful job decorating with them! I was so impressed! The Disney floral team was wonderful!!!
