Choosing MK day

We are visiting in the fall and want to choose one day to be our "main" MK day. (we would also be visiting MK for a few hours on two EMH days just for the EMH and park hopping to a lower crowd park)

Our two main choices (based on crowd calendars) are a MNSSHP day or a day after MNSSHP ends for the season (but before MVMCP begins) with an 8pm close. Both are rated "most recommended" by EasyWDW, and equal on most crowd calendars, but KennythePirate slightly favors the MNSSHP day.

The main difference is that the 8pm day has MSEP and Wishes. I do want to see them, so if we choose the MNSSHP day, we would have to see them on the day we are hopping over for evening EMH. I imagine MSEP and Wishes will be much more crowded on that day than the 8pm day, though we could make our advance FP+ for MK that day and reserve the shows, since we'd be coming from a low-crowd park (what's the chance I would be "iPadded" in the FP+ viewing areas? If there's a good chance of that I guess I'd rather not waste a FP+)

I would do the day without the MNSSHP. This way you can stay at the park as long as you want and not have to worry about being rushed out the day of the party. Also if you want to watch the parade and firework you would be able to do so. I am not a fan of MK on the days with MNSSHP or MVMCP. I prefer to spend the entire day, watch the fireworks and parade, and then leave the park.
