Favorite Epcot Area Resort

I'm looking to book a trip for March 2020 to celebrate My daughter's 18th birthday, It will be my daughter, her bestie and I.

So a little bit about my daughter she hates to swim so pool matters to her none. She also hates being on the beach. She wants a nice relaxing room with a nice view. She likes sleeping in breakfast isn't her goal in the morning she's more of a brunch person. Her favorite resort is Poly (currently pricing out of our budget) and her Dream resort is Grand Floridian (Priced out of our budget but for a Club level room with a significant discount so I'm contemplating).

We will mostly be doing Flower and Garden at Epcot and relaxing so the girls can get out their Senioritis. We will be visiting all the parks and my daughter loves to shop and loves Disney Springs. We also loved our Club level stay when we visited AKL. A resort where we would each have our own bed would be awesome.

I would also take any suggestions of Adult things to do now that they are 18 at any of the specific resorts.

If pools don't matter save a bit of money and stay at the Boardwalk. Pools notwithstanding the Boardwalk area is the best entertainment area across all of the Epcot resorts.

I voted for Boardwalk, it's the only deluxe Epcot resort I've ever stayed at. (But we're staying at Swolphin for Christmas and Beach Club for Easter in April - so maybe I'll have a different opinion soon.)

Anyway, I loved Boardwalk. Nice room. So comfy. Very quiet (except for Saturday night since we were facing the boardwalk side). There were 4 of us, DH and I had one bed, DS had a bed to himself, DD slept on the daybed/sofa - she's the shortest. No random hallway chaos like the values or moderates.

The restaurant options are fantastic all around the boardwalk area and "Crescent Lake". An evening stroll after dinner is so lovely.

I vote BWI or YC (garden or water views).
BWI still has the daybed in all rooms (?). I still see these daybed in my YC rooms but I've been told they're not always available.

I've never stayed at Boardwalk, though now that we are DVC owners I would give it a shot for the villas. I'll just have to find a way to avoid that creepy clown pool!! :goodvibes

We prefer the Yacht Club to Beach Club, as it just seems so much more relaxed. Every time we've been to the Beach Club it just seems so chaotic and loud. Though, again due to DVC, we definitely wouldn't rule Beach Club Villas out, especially if we were lucky enough to snag one during Food and Wine.

Irrational clown fear aside (I feel you), it's actually a decent pool. DH and I usually just pound a cocktail, grab a floatie and let the clown-slide vortex spin us around and around for hours (hopping out periodically to pound another beverage). The kids just spend hours going down the slide over and over again....
