I am really interested in a grand villa, but am wondering if there is anywhere to compare them side by side? It's hard to find all the info. Anyone know? TIA!

I would look up YouTube video tours of all of the DVC resort grand villas. We have seen them all and our two favorite is the Jambo house Grand villa and the Boardwalk 1 floor grand villa. Old key west has the largest, SSR, BLT, AKV-kidani are two stories. RIV and VGF are beautiful but cost way too many points. If you are renting points make sure you coordinate for the 11 month booking window of the resort you choose with someone who owns a ton of points there.

OKW are the 3rd largest. RIV is 2nd and VGF is 1st at WDW. OKW are by far the least amount of points and VGF the most points. It really depends on what you like. Look at you tube videos, they give you an idea how they are setup, but once you go in one they feel much bigger than what you see on video.

I don't know of any resource that does a side-by-side comparison of all of the DVC grand villas. There are so many variations among them but the one thing that they share in common is that they accommodate up to 12 guests plus one child under the age of 3.

If you love the resort, chances are good that you will also love the GVs in it. If you don't care for the resort, you probably won't like your stay in a GV as much as you would elsewhere.

The suggestion to watch YouTube videos of all of the GVs is a very good idea, although some of the videos are older and rooms have been renovated since they were posted. Just look for the most recent posts.

- both which are gorgeous!

I have stayed at GV at VGF and AKV Jambo and they both are awesome, but the GV VGF is my all time favorite

If you are not a DVC member at a resort with a GV, you might not be booking it unless you get a member at that resort to book it for you at 11 months out. They don't usually come up on the Disney Reservation Center website.
