What do you consider the best character B/L/D? I know that I will be doing Chef Mickey's, but want to do 3 in addition to that. What do you recommend and why!:smooth:

Personally I would skip CM and do

Cinderella's breakfast ... Castle, princesses, not a buffet, good food, eat early and get into the MK before everyone else

Donald's breakfasosaurus ... lots of fun, good food, interactive CM's great characters

H&V lunch ... good food, Minnie all dressed up

and Crystal Palace for either meal..... I like breakfast and lunch both here (haven't had dinner), Pooh and friends, beautiful restaurant

We did LTT, GG, CM, CRT, and Tony's on our Thanksgiving trip. We have to do a meal where Pooh is. We pick meals based on characters we want to see as well as restaurant. We enjoyed all 5 of our character meals, and to pick a top 3 of those is difficult. We always have to hit GG, and this was our 3rd time there. Every experience has been outstanding at GG. I posted reviews, so maybe that will help. I think it's hard to go wrong with a character meal.

We enjoy Hollywood and Vine for breakfest or lunch.

We love Crystal Palace - it's a lovely setting, good fun and great character interaction. Cape May Cafe is also very good and I'd recommend the Garden Grill - sadly it seems like it's being overlooked these days, which is a shame. :(

Picking a character meal for us depends where we think were going to be. We did Donald's Breakfast at AK because we were going there that day. By the way it was very good. We also did CP because we were at MK. We tend to pick them as an extra bonus. If there's one in the hotel or park we're at we'll usually give it a try. Next trip is different since we are taking our neice with us and she has made a couple of requests. Thank god one of her requests wasn't CRT. Those are so hard to get.

My fav is Cape May at Beach Club. It's usually not as crowded as the others and I love the food:D

Number 1 in our book is the Character breakfast at 1900 Park Faire! The food is fantastic, the service is top notch, and the characters are different (with the exception of the Pooh family) than any you will find elsewhere. We had Mary Poppins, Bert, Alice in Wonderland, Pooh and Tigger. The Mad Hatter, Eeyore, and Aladdin have also been known to show up. We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to return!

My second favorite is the lunch at Hollywood and Vine! The buffet has a great selection, we had really good service, and the characters were great! Minnie looked so pretty in her long white dress, and the kids loved when she and Goofy were swingdancing (the characters are dressed in 1940's old Hollywood attire). Some of the kids actually got to get up there and dance with the characters!

If you are looking to do a Princess breakfast, we did enjoy the new one in Norway. There we saw Snow White (the prettiest we have ever seen), Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, and Belle. I have heard that Alice has also been known to appear, but Cinderella can't leave her castle to attend. The food was good, although the eggs were a bit too hard for our taste. Our service was excellent, and the characters were great!

We've loved all the character meals we've done. They were all different, but all very fun! I don't think you can pick a wrong one to go to.

We've been to:
CRT
CM
O'hana's
Tony's

we loved Liberty Tree Tavern. Checked in at 3:45, and was chosen the family that rings the dinner bell. Was taken back while everyone else waited in the lobby, had a group picture taken with pluto, chip and dale, & minnie. ( cm took with our camera) then we all went up to the balcony where goofy joined us, we all read the opening announcement to the waiting crowd below. A cm took 2 more pics with our camera from below. The cm that was up there with us anounced.....we give you the (our name) family and everyone clapped, this was the highlight of our grandsons first trip to disney. We also recieved a magical moments certificate, we were the first family seated and first family served. character interaction was fabulous, lots of attention and seen them several times each. food was great.

We have done quitre a few Characters meal and only did not like the Beach Club breakfast (did it three times and each time had bad waitstaff).

Chef Mickey's was alright as food goes, but the child likes the atmosphere.

I love H&V and LTT - great meals and character interaction.

Crystal Place & Park faire have excellent food. Character interaction have been mixed - good and not so good.

Did the Sawn meal a while ago and liked it very much. does it still exist?

We are trying Donald's at AK this trip for the first time. also, may be doing Ohana's.
