If you had to choose only two sit down meals for 2 adults, 2 childeren age 7 and 8 which would you choose.

Ohana, Cindys Breakfast, Donalds, Chef Mickey's, Norway Breakfast, Spirt of Aloha, Rain Forest, WCC are among the ones you CAN"T choose, because we have eaten there before and want to try something new.

Thanks ! for your suggestions. We leave December 9th, and with the Holidays and everything, I just can't seem to make a decision. :)

Liberty Tree Tavern (for the Dinner character meal) and Le Cellier (great food). My second choice for a non character meal would be Rose and Crown scheduled close to the time of Illuminations so you could get dinner and a show.

When we took my niece two weeks ago, age 8, excluding ones you mentioned, I would say her favorite meals were--

Sci Fi Dine In Theater-didn't know if she'd really like this one, but it was a hit with my boys when THEY were little and a hit with her too.

Grand Floridian Cafe-She got the pizza there and said it was the best pizza she'd ever eaten, then we had the Chocolate Fondue for dessert and she LOVED it. The atmosphere is "pretty" too. Delicious food for everyone.

1900 Park Fair-Both breakfast and dinner. If they want to do characters, I would recommend one or both of these. Good food for a buffet, an interesting character assortment for breakfast and of course, Cinderella for dinner.

Definitely Mama Melrose and Teppakanayi in Japan in Epcot - our FAVORITE!!!

Lesley

we like Brown Derby for good food, service and atmosphere( if your kids are girls they might like the elegant "grown up
feel") and probably Beirgarten as they would probably like the show and the food was pretty family friendly imo( course my parents were german so maybe that's why it seemed normal to me) but good

Boma and Garden Grill. DD5 loves both of those places. The food at Boma is really great and Garden Grill has good food, atmosphere, and character interaction.

50's Prime Time Cafe (good food & fun!) and Kona Cafe for dinner (the pictures look heavenly and I'm a picky eater).

Add a vote here for Sci-Fi Dine In! It's so popular with DS9 that if we could have only two sit-down meals at WDW, he'd want them both there. :rotfl:

Liberty Tree Tavern (our must do every visit) and 50's Prime Time (our we keep wanting to do it, but somehow never have)

Restaurant Marrakesh and Biergarten in the German Pavilion.

We have 3 children (DD10,DS9 and DS4)... they really enjoy the food and entertainment at both these places. As do my DH and myself. And we enjoy the TS experience so much more when the three of them are not BORED. At Restaurant Marrakesh the food is delicious and there is music and a bellydancer who encourages the kids to come up and dance along too. There is a German Oktoberfest band playing at the Biergarten and it's extremely kid-friendly and always a bunch of kids dancing and playing on the dancefloor. They always have a blast at those two place. BTW... my DH also enjoys the bellydancer!!!!! So it's win/win.

Coral Reef for lunch (same menu as dinner but smaller and less pricey, kids can watch the fish swim)
Cape May (the clambake has lots of great seafood and good fare for kids)

Liberty Tree Tavern and either Sci-Fi (boys) or 1900 Park Fare Cinderella's Gala Dinner (girls).

Crystal Palace and 50's Prime Time Cafe....if you don't consider Crystal Palace b/c it's buffet go for Le Cellier in Epcot! YUMMY

Crystal Palace and Hoop-de-doo dinner show! Sci-Fi if you can't do one of the first 2.

Kona Cafe is wonderful for dinner! We also ate at 50's Prime Time for a late lunch and it was great. I was STUFFED.

We really like Crystal Palace for breakfast and dinner, so if you enjoy buffets I would certainly recommend it! :)
