choice of lunch

My family is going on a vacation to Disney World over new years, as we have done over the past eight years.
The problem we're having is we are trying to find a diff place for each day (i believe we are there for 5 days)

After many a failed attempt at looking at dining choices, what is the best place to go to for lunch?

What do you prefer... counter service or table service meals?

and so far we have Chef Mickeys and Garden Grill so proabably another sit down.

Do you like more traditional foods or are you adventurous? Are you looking for just character meals or any table service? Inside the parks only or would you consider restaurants at the hotels?

DHS-50's PTC; 2 TS Hollywood Brown Derby

AK-Tuskers House Buffet or Yak and Yeti-both new.

DTD-Raglan Road

Character-Princess Storybook-Epcot; Crystal Palace MK; 'Ohana breakfast with Lilo & Stitch (seats up to noon) Poly; Park Fare-early dinner GF;

We enjoyed Le Cellier for lunch. Normally we do CS for lunch but in Oct we are going to try Sci Fi and San Angel Inn and the Plaza for lunch. I say go to allearsnet.com and look at the menus and pick the ones that you like the best

Here are some of our favorites and why........

Magic Kingdom - The Plaza Restaurant. It's small, quaint and often overlooked. Good service, nice sandwiches and salads.

Epcot - LeCellier. Small intimate, phenomenal food.

Hollywood Studios - 50's Prime Time. Comfort foods of home in a fun atmosphere.

Animal Kingdom - not much to choose from. Rainforest is ok.

Polynesian - Kona. Unique eats and a casual island atmosphere.

Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon. Good food, fun, fabulous lodge atmosphere.

If you have Garden Grill for lunch call to verify as that meal is being discontinued so it jut Bfast and Lunch there.

We had a wonderful Lunch at Coral Reef. I would do that over Garden Grill especially since you are going to Chef Mickey's for characters. We found Chip and Dale to be pretty acessible in the parks.

At the Magic Kingdom, we love Plaza Restaurant for lunch. Not only are the sandwiches very good (and huge), but we love the shakes and the sundaes for dessert.

We have done LeCellier for lunch for the last four visits (this is the first visit we were able to get a dinner time).

At Animal Kingdom, we have not done a table service as of yet. We don't like Rainforest Cafe at all (disliked them in Chicago and Vegas), but we are trying Yak & Yeti this September (we've always done Flame Tree for counter service).

At the Studios, we like Mama Melrose and if we had to choose another it would be 50's Prime Time. Sci-Fi is okay....but a very limited menu; we refuse to go to Hollywood & Vine after two horrid experiences and thought Brown Derby was overrated.

I've been to both of these and loved them both!

Really enjoyed Teppan Edo at Epcot for lunch. It's fun and the food is plentiful, but amazing light.

I also have had the lunch at the resturant in Mexico ( sorry the name escapes me at the moment )
