I have a Bank of America Choice Hotels Visa. I wanted to see what gift certificates I could pick to redeem points. I went through the steps, and redeemed for a $50 gift certificate, thinking that eventually it would let me CHOOSE a gift certificate. Nope, it just gave a confirmation for "Gift Certificate." All the ads mention is for hundreds of major retailers and restaurants. Yeah, but WHERE?? Is it one big generic gc good for a bunch of locations, or is a crapshoot where my gc will be good for? I am glad I picked the smallest amount, so I didn't waste many points!!
