I have a dd5 who is only allowed one glass of milk a day, and after over a year of it being chocolate (as a reward for going to bed w/o a fight) it kinda HAS to be chocolate.

Can you get chocolate milk pretty much everywhere or should I bring my powder mix?

Thanks, one wk to go!

I am a chocolate milk expert since my 5 year old used to be addicted to it! It was so stressful going anywhere and having to find it. (Paris was by far the worst!!!).

Anyway, WDW sells Nesquick and it's just about everywhere! No worries. Some places have the big bottle and some have the small carton and some have both sizes. It's offered at many many counter service locations. The Main Street Bakery for example. There are some carts that don't have it but all the counter service restaurants do.

Thankfully, my DD broke that habbit (after getting VERY ill when she was 2 and could only drink water) and now she loves water best! Go figure.

Be careful, the Nesquick is very thick and rich. My son loves chocolate milk, but usually won't drink it down there. I buy the bottle and it just gets wasted.

Not sure how much of a chocolate lover your dd is, my ds is a chocoholic but can't drink very much of that milk.

You might try it before you go down to see how you like it. You can find the bottled Nesquick in convenience stores & some grocery stores.

Thanks! She has had NesQuick before so that is ok. Since she can only have one glass a day max (or she will wake up in the middle of the night repeatedly) it's only got to be either breakfast or lunch that she gets it at.

my DS5 is also a choc. milk addict. It's SOO expensive there. One bottle of the Nesquick (he drinks it all) is $1.99. We usually take some with us and put it in the fridge. WL Concierge was nice wnough to stock it for us for free when they discovered his addiction! Gotta love 'em!

My DD(11) only drinks chocolate milk and water. She didn't like the Nesquick at Disney, though. She is very picky about her chocolate milk. We always have to bring a few bottles with us when we travel. I have had to cut her down to one glass per day (weight issue). She drinks water the rest of the time. I'm just glad that she doesn't like soft drinks. I wish I didn't.

I would bring your own packets. We use Carnation Instant Breakfast chocolate mix. This way you can decide how much chocolate goes into the glass/bottle. My dd is very happy with just a small amount. :)

Personally, I hate Nesquick. It doesn't taste like chocolate milk to me so much as chocolate powder mixed with water.

Ironically, the white milk carried all over WDW is Velda, which makes some of the best chocolate milk I've ever tasted, but since Disney has some sort of deal with Nesquick they can't carry Velda chocolate milk.

If you make a grocery stop off-site and want to get some chocolate milk, assuming you have a fridge or cooler at your resort, look for the Velda chocolate milk, or another brand I have found in the WDW area, TG Lee. Both are excellent and much better than Nesquick.

thank you everyone!! We are on the Dining Plan, so sure choc milk can count as her counter service drink, don't have to worry about the price that way, :) and as mentioned before, she likes the Nesquick, so we are fine there too.

BTW, the BEST chocolate milk is Hershey's. It also has added calcium, which is cool. But that is great choc milk.
