The carriage isn't inside the restaurant, so I don't think you'll be able to sit by it.... (Sorry, I keep being the bearer of bad news!)

I have seen on another forum that someone organised a special anniversary dessert - it was written on the dessert "happy anniversary" in Walts. Maybe you could do something like that? I'm not sure how you would go about it though......

It strange that they don't seem to offer it - the picture of the white chocolate version gets featured in just about every release of the brochure.

This isn't about the glass slipper but as it is Auberge related, thought I would just put it in.

The children's meal has mushroom sauce on it. As both my children are very allergic to mushrooms (they take after me), can I just check that it is chicken and the sauce poured over, rather than one of these (the best way to describe it!) boil in the bag type things?

Hopefully the first as I can just ask for it not to be added.

Thanks :goodvibes

I think in table service restaurants it is all prepared from scratch so I imagine you should be able to ask without the sauce

I'm pretty sure the childrens meal is now a flat beef pattie akin to a burger with no bun.... If you click on the link in my post fairly near the top of the page you can have a look at the latest reviews....

Aaaawwww bummer.

They don't eat beef at all - I was onto a definite winner with the chicken.

Thanks Bob.

Sorry!!! :sad1:

I've got to admit, I would have thought the chicken was more of a child friendly choice anyway...

Yep - was there in Sept. Definately no chicken on children's menu. My DD1 (3.5 years) had the beef patty but I forgot to ask for it well done and it came out v v pink in the middle. Tbh it was just like a beef burger - if your kids eat beef burgers and you ask for it well done ('bien cuit' in French - I had to ask in French btw as my waitress's English wasn't great), I'm sure it would be OK for them.

My DH also ordered the pasta (tortellini) just in case DD1 wouldn't eat her beef. She loved that!! She's normally a great eater though!

Enjoy if you do go - I still have to do my review (sorry!) but there are some pics in my TR below if you fancy a peep (Second day). We had a table actually on the dancefloor - couldn't have had better. You could ask for one near the dancefloor to get the best views of the Princesses/Princes dancing. I do think they tend to seat larger number parties (we were 5 plus baby) there though from what I've heard but maybe not always....

We loved our meal there :goodvibes And will definately go back when we return, :lovestruc
