Chocolate Fried Chicken.......?

As much as I loooove chocolate (not a big fan of fried chicken) I cannot imagine these two tastes together...:headache:

…..I'll try that as soon as you try my peanut butter and scrambled eggs….popcorn::

For the life of me I can't imagine those flavors together. It would be like eating after a toddler. :crazy2:

I think it might be ok depending on the other spices they use with the chocolate in the coating of the chicken.

My first thought was "oh no yuk". But on thinking about it (I LOVE chocolate and I LOVE chicken) and listening to the story in your link, they use the raw chocolate (so not the Hershey's kind :rotfl: ) in the batter (so like using cocoa in a cake batter) which is not sweet and I think it may be pretty good! And I would definitely try it.

Thanks for posting that story :goodvibes Looking forward to hearing reveiws :thumbsup2

It would be interesting to watch them make it...:thumbsup2

Your welcome, I can't wait for reviews...;)

But.....the Mexicans have that chocolate chicken mole. Using unsweetened cocoa powder, and I thought it was quite tasty.

Perhaps this is the same.

I love chocolate and I love fried chicken, but I don't think I could eat them together.

I'd rather have toast.

That's what I thought. Mole is delicious. However, it is NOT sweet, and instead is savory. Sweet would be weird.

At American Cupcake near Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, they have red velvet fried chicken served with cream cheese mashed potatoes. It's pretty good!
