chocolate covered strawberries

I have read in the past that chocolate covered strawberries are available at WDW.....does anyone know where? This sounds like a great treat!

I don't know if they are at WDW because I haven't been yet, but if you wanted to make them at home before you go they are VERY easy to make. They are a must have at every get together we have at our house.

All you need is chocolate and strawberries of course!!!

Melt the chocolate in the microwave, dip the strawberry in and coat it, place it on a sheet of wax paper, stick it in the fridge to set and VIOLA!!!! You have your tasty treat...They are soooooooooooo good!!!

Also try them dipped in white chocolate ..very scrumptious!!

They are available in several of the bakeries and candy shops. I've gotten them at the Boardwalk Bakery, the candy shop in the Marketplace, and at a kiosk in Italy. Lots of deluxe hotels also have them in the room service menu. I've had them in concierge and at the Grand Floridian afternoon tea. They are yummy. Hope you find some

You can get thm at MGM it's at the Villians store theres a sweet shop inside it. My DD who's 17 gets them when we go to MGM she says tey are very good.

I always got them on Main St, USA in the candy shoppe.

Jennifer, I was wondering what kind of chocolate you use? Someone told me to use the dipping chocolate they sell in the produce section. I made two large trays for Easter (for each of our families) and put them in the fridge. In the morning I was heartbroken to find they were all soggy and spoiled. I guess my mistake was putting them in the fridge with that chocolate, but regardless, I'll never use that again.

BTW, have a wonderful trip to Disney!!

DW and DS ALWAYS get them at the Villian's Shop in the Studios. It is an annual ritual.

The candy shop at MGM has it, so does the Candy Cauldron at DTD. They're $2.50 each but the strawberries are huge. DH has to get some every trip. That and the chocolate covered marshmallow sticks.

IMHO, the very best, biggest, juiciest chocolate covered strawberries are in a little shop in Downtown Disney. I don't know the name of it, but it's on the West Side, just down from DisneyQuest. They are heads and tails above the ones at Ghirardelli's.
